damn right I would. Spending more time with my kids, cooking whatever I want and not having to do chores with the little amount of spare time I have after I’m done working would be great.

Social security is the kind of thing that everyone should be glad to pay, and crosses their fingers they’ll never need it.
I’d rather have a part of my income goes there and have the ability to bounce if life gives me lemons than end up in a bottomless spiral of poverty I have no hope to get out of.

If you don’t plan on making a successor that plays and contains the features the userbase would expect, don’t name it like it’s a sequel.
They ruined the name of a perfectly good franchise just to attract the fanbase, nobody wins and everyone is angry.
- Comment on Booking.com cancelled woman's $4K hotel reservation, then offered her same rooms for $17K 2 months ago:
Personally I use those websites to find the best price, then call the hotel to book directly with them at that price. At least the hotel gets 100% of the money, I get a rebate and better & direct service and I get to fuck those websites out of their revenue share.

What’s the point in reporting and helping mods if all that lead is a ban? Let the mods handle the filth without the help of the community and see how that goes.

Cloud computing I agree, at least until we figure out homomorphic encryption.
For cloud storage it’s not as bad, as long as you control the keys and the provider doesn’t see them then you can be fairly confident the data is safe.

They’re accusing them of being terminally online and posting a lot, which isn’t against the rule, and I don’t see @Davriellelouna@lemmy.world posting irrelevant or spammy stuff.
If they’re unhappy with that, they can block that user and move on if they don’t appreciate the content.

I use Bazzite on a different SSD in my desktop, and most of the game I play works as expected. I mostly play single-player and coop stuff, nothing competitive.
