I recently had an rfid scanner immediately rma-d back that had just been returned to us. The new issue was caused by a setting and not by a defect. I asked our IT/help desk if it WAS a setting that could be changed
“I don’t know. I get the thing, I check these settings, I check those settings, that’s all I know”
😑😑😑
So me and another person are out of our equipment for another couple weeks while the scanner is sent back for “repairs” and the repair people will go “😑 tap tap tap idiots”

Blurry pics of a cat’s right up on the lens is low effort. Any pictures you see posted in a place like lemmy.world/c/astrophotography will not be low effort because those are removed. They also require the submissions to be OC

I advise not to go “cheap” and make sure you get something body safe. (Cheap toys could be made with harmful materials.) Honestly if you go to a sex shop and explain what the need is, they’ll be more than happy to guide you to toys that have the vibrations you need. There’s buzzy or rumbly types and come in a huge range of strengths and textures

I’m not sure what you need specifically, but something like this might work? lovecrave.com/products/vesper It’s small and you can use the tip for pinpoint or the length of it for a larger area. Thanks for posting these! I’ve caught nearly every one since you started and have given me motivation some days to start up something and play for a bit. And I’ve never regretted it because I do enjoy gaming. On those blah days seeing someone being excited about a game lifts my mood enough to do it myself and end up feeling pretty good and having fun
I hope you don’t forget anytime soon! I appreciate your enthusiasm for your games and following along with your progress is very wholesome as well

That last bit is something that bothers me. My apartment used to pay water, sewer, garbage but years ago they shifted that to the tenants. We don’t have individual meters so our bill is divided up between units and the number of people in the unit (supposedly… Our bills are administered by a third party. I can’t even pay my bill directly to the utility companies)
I try to conserve water (or anything else, but I’m focusing on the water). I don’t like waste. But fuck it, if I’m paying for OTHER PEOPLE’S water usage I sure as shit will make sure I get my money’s worth. But if everyone has that mindset, our bills collectively go up. Oh well

There was a song for the last while had been plaguing me. I’d heard it and knew the name then (years ago) but I’d long forgotten it and every lead was a dead end. Could not find it
Recently, I was watching a streamer for a game I enjoy. It was just on for background noise so I had mostly tuned it out for a few streams. Had to once double check “the” because I’d been talking to friends about how words eventually lose meaning they’re overused. The example was to just say it repeatedly while thinking of the word in your head, and eventually the concept of the word the loses any tangible meaning
