Thank you! Yeah the only term I could think of was worm drive but after looking that clearly wasn’t it
The initial video I saw them moving the “wire” and figured it was electric but then I noticed it was moving as the handle turned so I looked up a video about the device specifically
I understood what it does but yeah the application of it was really cool. Made me think of it as mechanical circuitry

I’ve tried playing the game for years. I finally decided to get back to it and get gud because my biggest weakness is I haven’t learned to fight well and I hated being carried by whoever I was playing with
I restarted a few days ago and was really surprised when I saw a big update. So I went in on the “easy mode” with a focus more on homesteading and chiller zombies and got used to the ui and took the time to figure out the mechanics of killing zombies, even a small pack
They have a tutorial that is (I think) well put together to walk you through the first steps

I moved to a place with bedbugs (I was unaware at the time and furious when the landlord was nonchalant about “oh, yeah, they’re a problem”)
I am glad you’ve never had to go through the trauma of bed bugs. They were a bug I broke my “put outside and don’t torture” rule for. I had enough I was able to capture multiple and throw them in jars with different things to see if anything affected them. Rubbing alcohol was insanely good at killing them
