Clearly a photograph of a horse-drawn bus from the 1890’s would be black and white.

It’s obviously a modern color photograph of an old black and white photograph from the 1890s.
MacNCheezus@lemmy.today 2 months ago
You raise a good point.

It might have been drawn in the 1890s, but the photograph was taken with a modern camera.

Silly, it’s of rich people shit. They had color photography far before all the plebeians. .

Bravo.

As a side note, I’m skeptical that a shrimp could fry rice, or anything else for that matter, since they have pretty tiny hands and probably would have a great deal of trouble gripping cooking utensils or the handle of the pan

As God’s own truth, the horse took brush in hoof and drew this bus.

And if you look at the reflection in the wood panelling, the photograph was clearly taken by a giant pigeon.
SippyCup@lemmy.ml 2 months ago
It was taken by the gnome inside the giant pigeons eye. Because you can’t see the camera the pigeon would have to be holding. But it does appear as though the pigeon is looking directly at the bus.

This particular omnibus seems to be a modern replica:

Though some buses of the time period did have a similar multi-door design. This one is from the 1880s:

I think you’ll find the horse is being drawn by the bus.
“I’ll be your french horse”

I don’t think this bus could draw a horse either.
Or take a photograph of it, for that matter.

Is that a big pigeon shadow on the top?
MacNCheezus@lemmy.today 2 months ago
Hmmm… perhaps a pigeon took this photo?

everything has been a downward spiral since we stopped using glossy wood veneer everywhere

Has Ron ever looked inside a camera? Some of them have a few horsepower.

Seems better in every way tbh

Also one would expect to see a theme more interesting for horses - like, say, grass - in a drawing from a horse, though maybe this one could be more of a social critique, subtly alluding to the plight of enslaved horses.

Oh yeah, what if it was THIS horse?

Well, he DOES look pretty talented.
Aceticon@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 months ago
To get that photographic level of precision, I would expect more something along the lines of a modern horse using an Image Generation AI coupled to a Natural Language Processor trained on horse sounds.
