Our Anniversary is towards the end of June and I’ve pretty much got the evening all planned. How long do you think I should wait before telling my girlfriend we have plans?
I wouldn’t tell her what it is just get, but maybe just to be like ‘keep your calendar clear on the 21st, I’ve got it all sorted.’
I’m sure I’ll be able to tie the solstice into it somewhat. I also want to get ahead of things early in the unlikely event she’s planning something as well.
I reckon wait till next week.
I’ll wait until we hit June then tell her I’ve already got plans. She can find out what they are closer to the date.
My sister has been given a secondment to another team. She’s had to change her email signature, so it’s got her new role, its subteam, then team, then wider department. A whole lot of words to say what she’s doing.
Mine has all this. And then the days I work in each role. And when I’m not here, because part time workforce.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is free on the Epic Store for anyone interested.
It’s a kind of DnD/RPG spinoff from Borderlands 2. It’s fun enough and worth grabbing for a rainy day.

Like seeing meat labelled ‘Hormone Free’. All meat is Australia is hormone free. We don’t do that shit here.

Hot dogs are boiled. Sausage sizzles are ‘broiled’. One little consonant makes a mighty difference to the end result.
Grilled dogs vs boiled ones.
In Canada hot dog stands do both!! Dogs are first steamed (does most of the cooking) then grilled for that charred goodness.
Sausages are just very fine mince with added fillers so I’d say pureed hamburger mince.

The Hello Fresh meal kits arrive today, which will take me through the move and the first days in the new house. Breakfasts and half the lunches are already sorted too, I just need to add in some random sandwiches.
Today I will try to finish all the packing inside & get the shed packed up. Working tomorrow for a rest, then Sunday will be packing up all the last minute stuff. I’m feeling a lot better about my packing progress after taking a van load to the new house yesterday, I was able to take a bunch of hard to pack stuff up in bags and I have a bit more space in the second bedroom to actually move and finish the packing in there.
Mr Woof and Miss Meow are both being given a food additive that is supposed to be calming (some sort of milk protein, a lady at work swears by it) and Miss Meow has Feliway spray, diffuser and Gabapentin for the moving day. They may end up calmer about the whole thing than me!
Really enjoying a new game I started playing a few weeks ago; The Bazaar. It’s like a deck builder auto battler thing. It’s really complex and high skill level. I’m still a noob but I’m having a blast. It’s free to play, but not on steam unfortunately
