Wasn’t able to do my first aid class last week, but was put into the other class for it this week. In class today and tomorrow so I have to catch up on the theory classes tomorrow, over the weekend.
Very appreciative that they could slot me into this one, so I don’t have to pay out of pocket for a private one lol.
And there’s nothing more I love than going to campus when it’s spring. Thankful my animal course is at the same place they do horticulture. Wandering around the greenhouses and the grounds with all the beautiful plants and flowers, really improves my mental health. So many butterflies, bugs, flowers, buds, the smell of spring. It’s just a magical place when it’s sunny.

The thought of my baby nephew having to go through even a fraction of the challenges I’ve had to live through in this sick world just breaks my fucking heart.
The thought of that sweet innocent child exposed to any of the dangers I’ve had to face makes me die inside.
And unfortunately I’m still living through those same dangers and trying to stay alive myself. So if and when he faces those dangers I’m not sure what resources I have to help him, since I apparently don’t have the answers.
I think I’ve only got prayers left at this point.
The one thing I can do if I die is at least leave him what I have in a will.

Doesn’t really put food on the table or provide shelter but I guess it’s better than nothing.

Miss Seagoon is an adult and I still worry sick. She should be ok tho as the fam will have left her enough to at least have a home.

I wish only the best for Miss Seagoon: happiness, or at the very least peace and contentment.

Hope you’re doing ok and are out of whichever dangers affected you. I think the world has lots of problems. But also, there’s lots of things that are better than they used to be. (At least in the western world). Better healthcare, less racism, less homophobia, more awareness of mental health issues, taking domestic violence seriously, etc. I think your nephew is lucky in one aspect - never underestimate how important it can be in a kids life to have a plain speaking uncle/aunt who might tell them about world perspectives their parents may not.
