What do you miss? Ill never understand why anyone would want to go back. Sure, it would be nice to have a beer in the shower, but then what? Keep drinking and then be hung over the next day?

I really wish it were that simple…

I think this has been said before, girls, if you want to dominate the man you love, just have sex with him. Men are pretty simple, we desire the person who desires us and has sex with us.

He was sitting poolside at a resort when an US agent came up to him and said essentially “we found you, we also know where your family is. You can come with us and we’ll get you and your family out, or, you can wait for the Russians to find you, which won’t be long, and you can see what they do with you. The choice is yours, but make it right now.” So he went to the US because he felt his fate was better there. And he wasn’t just a scientist who was being used by the Nazis, he was a hardened nazi. He ran factories with slave labor that had executed corpses hanging from the ceiling. The workers had to go down a hallway to check into work where the bodies of sabotauers were on display and they had to punch them on their way onto the floor. He wasn’t just complicit in that and how things were run, those were his decisions. (I did a humongous project on the V-2 rocket when I was younger. Would have won the national competition in DC if I would have just answered one question the judges were essentially begging me to answer)

Back in my twenties if an even remotely cute random girl said “ill wear something cute, dont hit on me and you can help me move my apartment” I probably would have done it the whole day, helped you clean out the drawers, helped you fix that hole so you get your security deposit back, rented a truck…

I totally get where you’re coming from, but let me play devils advocate: when their policy is to deny and dispose which results in the death of so many people, ruins the livelihoods of so many people. When we know the majority support universal Healthcare and we know it would save the lives of like 172000 people every year. The ceo may not kill people with a gun, but he is killing with the pen. When they make decisions that they know will kill people but will also raise the stock price, then what is justified?

- Comment on Luigi Mangione sacrificed his freedom for Nothing. 3 weeks ago:
I was working on a house for this retired lawyer this week. At dinner he was talking about how hard it was to find Healthcare a while ago because his wife had cancer and he had heart issues. He was talking about the thousands he had to pay then and also talking about trying to pay for Healthcare for everyone at his practice and how horribly expensive that was and how he had to eventually drop it. The very next day I walk by the living room and the news is reporting on Luigi, and his comment was “I wish they would just take him outside and shoot him, but they won’t do that will they”
The disconnect, even for someone so smart, is real

I have actually wondered this from the beginning. I feel like if I hung out with either of them separately over a beer, I would think the other one is crazy.

I’ve wanted to do this in conjunction with Aldi using only aldi ingredients for a long time now. I’ve always wanted to make a rehearsal video and send it to them. Think they’d go for it?

I might be dumb here, but pink lemonade is made from the bidding flowers from a bush. They are very tart and taste like lemon because they are full of ascorbic acid too. The flower in the bud is pink and makes pink lemonade.

As a parent to 12,14,18,20 year olds. Its interesting. The biggest problem was covid. It sent everyone to their computers and stunted all of their social growth. These are not my words, this is what my very wise 14 year ols says. Nobody “hangs out” with anyone anymore. They are afraid of all social situations, even the popular cool kids are so dumb and oblivious that they know it. So one little push and they fold like a house of cards. These kids will not rage against the dying of the light, they will willingly be marched into the trenches.

Its so much harder than you think. This would take a team of about 20 guys a month to do right. He got some little company for maralago to do it. He probably flew them up and got them hotel rooms and tours and everything. They just started putting blue paint down. That is concrete that has been under water for decades.
The process: Power wash the entire pool with high pressure for about a week Have professional concrete guys patch any holes Vacuum up any particulate Seal with two coats of concrete primer tinted blue rated to be under water Clean the whole surface again to ensure there arent loose particles anywhere by thoroughly vacuuming again Then two coats of the blue topcoat
It would take at least a month and the guys they got to do it just know how to do smaller swimming pools that dont need as much prep and they are “ccommercial” work, which usually means its done as cheaply as possible.
Thank you for coming to my ted talk
