No way does it have cheese.
I could do the dough, probably. A jar of sauce is over, a can of tomatoes is over, hell 3 to 4 regular ass tomatoes are over that.
- Comment on What should be emoji reaction for "me too" in the general sense 1 week ago:
No I’m suggesting each individually as an option. Unfortunately I don’t know if an app that does multiple reactions from one person.

- Comment on What should be emoji reaction for "me too" in the general sense 1 week ago:
I could see a few options based on context (I’ll skip things i saw already mentioned).
For example, your nod about the Czech president? 🙂↕️ do the nod. There’s also a no nod 🙂↔️. As a reaction it may be too small to notice what you mean though. You booked the same time for thing? 🫡, ✅️, you could also establish this with them and then use something like 🟢 for it.
🤝, 👥️, maybe 2️⃣ if you establish that as well. Basically I think you’d need to say at some point, “me too, *emoji” to set a baseline.
- Comment on Is it normal that you feel very shaky as soon as you start to get hungry? 2 weeks ago:
I get that from time to time, but usually I’m hungry for a while first, unless I was distracted and it all hits at once. Then I’m ravenous, shaky, hot (and probably sweaty), and it’s all I’m thinking about.
- Comment on Im stupid but have money 2 weeks ago:
I appreciate that.
Number goes up is my security blanket
That’s fair, and it’s now put you in the position to be able to branch out. As long as you keep it reasonable, there’s no harm in spending some. Do the smart stuff, emergency funds and all that, then you should be all set to try some things out. Might even have enough to do some safe investing (but probably talk to an expert first).
I’m too far the other way, single no kids and renting, but no savings either. So ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- Comment on Im stupid but have money 2 weeks ago:
If all goes to hell in the way you’re describing, that number in your bank account will do nothing for you. You could, as another comment suggested, get into prepping as your hobby but just based on this post I’m thinking if shit truly “went down” I imagine you don’t really want to stick around for it.
For that reason I think you should get something you can afford, and keep some money around for exploring new hobbies. That will remove the irritation of renting but you’ll be responsible for everything which could be a new set of irritations. You have, as you say, no desire to do anything. I don’t know how you pass time now but to me, that means you should try new things and see if they stick.
Go for a couple hikes, take some pictures while you’re there (especially if it’s in nature, like a forest). Try playing some video games, read some interesting books, cook a few more intricate meals. Start learning another language. Try something creative like writing, you don’t have to share it after or try to make money from it, just doing it to do it. It doesn’t really matter, just if you think of an activity you haven’t tried recently, give it a shot and if you like it keep going.
Not every day all the time, but maybe a day or two a week you attempt something. Even if that doesn’t necessarily help, at least it keeps things interesting. All I’m getting at is “Number goes up” hasn’t worked so far, so try something else. And so what if all goes to hell, when it does would you rather be right and have done nothing because it didn’t matter or would you rather have enjoyed a few things in the meantime?

People are still using reddit and Twitter, of course they’re still using imgur.
Imgur also has an interesting niche that isn’t covered by alternatives yet.
- Comment on Microsoft has a problem: nobody wants to buy or use its shoddy AI products — as Google's AI growth begins to outpace Copilot products 2 months ago:
To be fair it’s the band-aid of AI. The people that do want to use AI are using chatgpt. It works about as well as an LLM will right now and it basically sucks you off while it does it, so people like using it.
Copilot is chatGPT thrown into Microsoft apps and Gemini sucks, forcefully replaced the assistant app, and automatically comes up on Google searches with nonsense seemingly half the time.
(When I do use an LLM i use deepseek, but I recognize that I’m probably the minority in that)

what the fuck is an EDC tactical wallet?
EDC being everyday carry, tactical at this point has lost any real meaning - pants with a few extra pockets, this wallet, any knife you might take outside of a kitchen, a water bottle holder that you can attach to something, anything that they put those little loops that are normally on military backpacks (actually there’s another example, all those “EDC” backpacks that are 150 bucks).

- Comment on [deleted] 2 months ago:
There’s a clear difference between someone who’s drunk screwing up the alphabet, slurring, can’t keep their eyes open, getting distracted, arguing with the cop, unbalanced, and someone just not really remembering the alphabet. If you’re taking a field sobriety test, they’re not really grading your knowledge of the alphabet, they’re looking for signs of intoxication. If after all the tests (walk and turn, balance on one leg, looking at the horizon) the cop is still suspicious, you might do a breathalyzer, or be arrested and brought in for a blood test.

- Comment on Why do big people wear the tiniest shit especially at rallys or riots? Like on Jan 6 I saw a bunch of big stupid people have on bullet proof vest that was only maybe 6inch by 6inch or tinier? 2 months ago:
Ignoring the bulletproof vests for a moment, they usually have the clothes from before they got that big. It’s not like your habits suddenly change, they’re usually always slowly growing until something clicks and they go on a diet.
- Comment on Why is ethanol so tasty? 2 months ago:
Fascinating, I drink alcohol solely to get drunk. Absolutely hate the taste. There are levels to it of course, I prefer bourbon to scotch for example. But none of it, shy of the fruity (usually) drinks that cover up the alcohol flavors, do i actually enjoy drinking.
Different strokes I guess.
- Comment on Wearing a helmet and a hat while biking 2 months ago:
Would it look stupid to place the cap on the handlebars
No.
or clip the cap into the strap of the helmet to carry it while riding?
Yeah kinda, I’m imagining it hanging from your face?
If you have a snap back kind of hat, yeah just attach it anywhere on the bike I’d say, or depending what you’re wearing, to you in some way. Don’t over think it.

Including an unredacted version of emails that had been leaked (which prompted this release) with the victim redacted. But you know, the reason they didn’t release anything else before was to protect the victims… until it’s better for Trump if they do.

Half life alyx was a solid game and I would expect valve to release another VR game for this things release. Even if not, there’s good stuff out nowadays.
Although I don’t get the motion sickness that people have mentioned so maybe I have more options.

The VR looks interesting. I had bought the HP reverb G2, but Microsoft pulled the plug on windows mixed reality, and I’ve since moved to Linux, so this might be a good replacement.
- Comment on How do I tell my Korean male childhood friend that he looks like a really cute anime girl and that I'd die for him and that I want to cuddle with him and treat him like a princess (no homo)? 2 months ago:
Sounds like you got it figured out bud. Tell them not us.
- Comment on Guess what you cannot turn off for some stupid reason! 2 months ago:
Because this setting is in the emoji section of the keyboard. That AI stickers option is for stickers you’ve already made (including from your own pictures), or you can prompt for an AI generated one if you have drawing assist turned on. If you tap ai stickers there in that screenshot it brings you to the option to turn that off (but doesn’t get rid of the button in the emoji section of the keyboard).
If you want to get rid of that entire section, you can remove the button to get to the emojis.
- Comment on If a girl asks you if you're big, are you supposed to lie or not? 3 months ago:
In the context of someone really asking, and not just joking around, yes you should be honest. Sounds like you’ll be on the path to showing them so don’t lie.
- Comment on Does anyone else notice an up tick in hostility on Lemmy lately? 3 months ago:
For me it’s everywhere. I still come to these things out of habit or because i don’t have energy for a regular hobby, but it’s getting draining. All of social media just brings me back to politics, even if funny memes are in between. I also have a habit of reading comments, and then some dingus brings the one non political thing back down to politics anyway.

I am judging a book by it’s cover here, but they said they’re not tech savvy, and asked the question in the post, so my assumption is that they themselves do not own one.
