    Finally listening to the new Karnivool album and man, it’s just so good to hear new music from these guys again. I don’t care if this album doesn’t end up being as good as Sound Awake, it’s always special when these guys get together to make music

    I really nailed my salad for lunch. The dressing was just a simple lime juice and yoghurt based, but once mixed in the salad with the egg, avocado, parmesan and bacon bits it was a perfect balance. I hope the lime and saltbush dressing I’ve done for the side salad for dinner tonight is as successful.

      I add pepitas to most of my salads. Gives a nice crunch and is super good for you.

    Launch day today. I wonder how smoothly things will go? Will I get everything out or is it going to be one of those things where it’s a big deal to me but no one else seems to have the same urgency

      You just reminded me I was going to sprinkle some fresh corriander on my fish curry last night. I guess it is a bit late now.

      I chop and freeze a lot of herbs, including corriander. I mix them with oil and freeze them in ice cube trays. You can also add water if that suits your recipes better, but I am usually adding oil anyway and because the oil is a bit soft you can chop a cube in half if you need to.

    had an idea so crazy it’s brilliant:

    at the moment, private courier companies can choose to be overseen by the postal ombudsman. Of course they don’t, so as a sender you can go fuck yourself when they steal your shit.

    Make it compulsory. The aramex fines alone would increase our GDP 200%

      fluoride, become a courier company and just never deliver anything. What are they going to do? Get funding from the government to help you ‘work towards’ delivery goals then file for bankruptcy

    I’m now able to walk on the knee unsupported (it kind of crunched back into place? 😵‍💫) but it’s still feeling kind of fragile so I can’t be too active or return to exercising just yet.

    Playing WoW… this ui is trash. Even in edit mode you can’t move some things out of the way though they literally obstruct your vision or your playable abilities.

    The action button? Right over the abilities on your spell bar. Portrait of NPC you just talked to? Over your log. Dungeon dialogue? Popup box that you must click the X of to close it while running to keep up. Reputation level gained? Massive popup in the middle of the screen that once bugged and refused to close until you exit or reload the ui. The kicker is when I was unable to use a time sensitive ability to break out of a control and took heaps more damage because a frickin loot window reappeared over it and blocked me from clicking. (I keep things that are less used or have a cooldown on top bars so I don’t accidentally pop them at the wrong time and won’t need to tab between bars.) I’m sorry, this is just poor design. I’m not enjoying knitting or string practice so I’ll keep using the trial account but I’m not subbing.
