    It’s been a great gardening day. I’ve gotten lots of planting done, some in punnets and some in the ground. Miss Meow even came outside to hang out with me for a while as I worked, it was very pleasant.

    Last 2 weeks I haven’t had heaps to do at work.

    interesting, my covid vax arm is really sore and swollen, my flu vax arm not at all

    but I think it’s the flu vax that’s gifing me a headache, fever and a flushed face

    What a chaotic dream! I’d just moved into a new house, had work the next day and couldn’t find my glasses or anything. The house was full of people, like the party houses I lived in in my early adulthood. I was late for work and running around this house searching for things and panicking. Some of the people there were people from my past (who’d proven themselves unreliable or self interested) and were genuinely trying to help but were useless.

    One thing I’ve heard at this job that I’ve never had before is ‘we have budget and we need to spend it’. I’m used to working with nothing and being told no to everything. I’m trying to not get too carried away with the possibilities but it’s nice to think I’m at a job where I can actually do new and different things rather than just trying to keep things running as is.

    I did a heap of gardening, climbed ladders, moved bricks, used sharp tools, all good. Came inside and gave myself a paper cut

    I’ve been catching up on podcasts a lot recently. One of my favourites stopped and with a regular job now I’ve actually been getting through them. I stopped listening to some ‘less timely’ podcasts when covid hit and stuck to ones related to the news cycle. I’ve added Comedy Bang Bang and The Best Show back into rotation, I might add some more as well. Plus, there’s always the option of listening to more music.

      Ol’ girl was showing her buds bros kid (grandkid). Asked me to help bring the piccys up. And there they were swooning. I said they all look the same and casually walked away. Felt good to be right for once.

      They vary. Baby chickens and ducks are balls of fluff so very cute. Other birds are naked with weird body shape so look a bit freaky.
