When I worked in a city with a warm climate I liked it. Now that I work from home in the suburbs and a cold climate I hate it.

Fun fact: the UK and a big chunk of Europe is far enough north that some days in summer never have proper nights, only twilight

    Ah, yes, noon.

Nah, sun doesn’t go down until 7pm here. However I wanna live in a place where the sun doesn’t come up during the winter and doesn’t go down during the summer. That seems like it’d be a really cool experience.

  • hungryphrog@lemmy.blahaj.zone ⁨3⁩ ⁨months⁩ ago

What tropic do you live in where the sun sets as late as 6?

We just have the cold, wet and windy winters here…still dark of course with 9am sunrise and 3:30pm sunset. Hardly ever any snow, but still right around freezing.
