  I felt like it was a world where a loooot of effort was put into certain aspects and then other parts of the world were neglected. Seemed like a waste of potential. For example some of the visual effects are kinda good even today, not just cause of the fidelity but also cause it seems like one cohesive piece. Talking about cohesion, the first and second halfs of this movie are two different movies, both with the storytelling and the visual effects and i like the first half muuuch more. Feels like if the movie focused on the Na’vi more it wouldve been better. An actually interesting story about slowly fitting more and more into a different culture got turned into some generic about natives fighting back, which you can do but then use one of the thousand examples irl, dont waste such a good oppurtunity to make something special. This is why i think so few fancy, high-budget movies tell good stories, without visual effects and huge sets you actually have to tell a story worth hearing to make your movie special. This of course doesnt mean visually captivating movies cant be narratively engaging, im just saying its rare.

  My strongest one is 65k but its focused as hell. Tbh i like edc lights much more. Like having a 65k light is cool but to our eyes its actually only twice as bright as a 13k lumen light and thats only twice as bright as a 2500 lumen one. Tho one thing that does scale to lumen is how large of an area it can light up. So if you light up 1m² with a 2.5k one then a 13k one will light up 5m² comfortably and a 65k one 25m²

  Okay but to be fair we actually have insane amounts of alcohol and alcoholism in eastern europe. I think all cultures have something unique whether that be good or bad. Sweden, where im living now, truly is very antisocial sometimes.

  Yeah last time i spent 6(yes, six) hours talking about music to a neurodivergent recovering ketamine, heroin and alcohol addict instead of drinking. He doesnt drink(for the previously mentioned reasons) so it was a special occasion for me to go but still i usually skip parties.

  This is why i take really long drinking breaks. I basically go to a party like 4 times a year and thats the only time i drink. Dont wanna ruin my organs and also addiction runs in my family.

  Me every day cause i live in a remote part of a smaller city, that is directly next to a larger one. Very goofy setup cause the people who designed the bus lines though it was completely reasonable that from a satellite settlement with a population of about 1000 people would want to commute to the center of the smaller city with population 24k and not to the center of the larger city, which is 5kms away, with a population of 130k. What this causes is that with bus it takes me an hour-ish to commute(because i have to change over) while everybody else drives, which takes 15 minutes. So yeah i either bike(also much shorter, 30 minutes) or take the first bus alone cause its stupid. The bike ride also has a pretty fucking steep, 150 meter elevation at the end which means that if im carrying stuff, or not sure about the weather, or something else i have to take the bus. Theres also the factor that the bike roads are so much less smooth than the roads which means you are encouraged to ride on the road while the bike path is literally 2 meters from you. Yay, swedish public transit(seriously i love this country but the politics and public transit are just so fucking dumb)
