- Comment on How do we know this is actually Earth, and not just some torture chamber in Hell and we are just being punished? 4 hours ago:
This is sustainability farming for demons. Do the bare minimum and harvest the sweet anger, sadness, frustration, etc. The fact that it seem like madness but still possible is a bonus. All this to keep the human souls from shattering from traditional hell torture.

Seems like all they need to do is have people go check off each one or check for fraud? Isn’t there a dept for that?

- Comment on Two big Final Fantasy remakes are reportedly still in ‘active development’ 1 week ago:
Well ff9 was the last one on ps1 so that makes sense.
I loved ff8 my only issue was magic was never used since I kept buffing my stats with it. Plus sci-fi time travel plot probably confused general audience and ff9 is safer. Which is sad cause the plot is what I loved about it most.

Well they did the ps4 remaster. I don’t think 9 got that.

- Comment on Trump Calls for Department of Education to Be ‘Closed Immediately’ 1 week ago:
That’s the pool in the area, its that bad. They didn’t bring in that many people from the old factory and hired local. Plus the location has such poor education that no one with kids wants to move in even though the housing is dirt cheap comparably. In fact people have been transferring out when their kids are old enough which is leading to management staffing issues. Pretty unexpected turn of events.
- Comment on Trump Calls for Department of Education to Be ‘Closed Immediately’ 1 week ago:
And no consistency means a unreliable workforce.
My company struggles with hiring people because the employment pool in the southern states can’t do math. Like no joking they had to local training on fractions so they can do their jobs. That’s embarrassing as a country.

- Comment on Many workers would take a pay cut to work from home — some would forgo at least 20% of their salary 2 weeks ago:
Yeah they could just say that and we would be less annoyed. Instead of the whole let’s ruin everyone’s day additude
- Comment on Many workers would take a pay cut to work from home — some would forgo at least 20% of their salary 2 weeks ago:
I’m paying a fifth of my wage commuting and eating lunches alone. Taking the cut is a net positive. Like the other commenters said it’s totally bs that it has to be considered at all. No pay cut since is Needed since productivity doesn’t go down.

- Comment on Is Civilization 7 not fun? 2 weeks ago:
Unpopular opinion turn base is boring. Rather pkay something like Stellaris where it turns to turn Base cause My 2012 pc can’t handle the game with 309 mods.

That’s why the 20% cut could be worth it. Now you can get more sleep in.
- Comment on Many workers would take a pay cut to work from home — some would forgo at least 20% of their salary 2 weeks ago:
I somehow believe they get a tax cut from city or something that has to be worth more than emptying the building for 3 days.
- Comment on Many workers would take a pay cut to work from home — some would forgo at least 20% of their salary 2 weeks ago:
Depends where you are. Imagine losing 2 hours a day in traffic + buying lunches cause never room in fridge. I knew multiple coworkers that got hotels to stay in and took train back home for weekends because it was cheaper than living close to work or didn’t want to uproot family.
Savings in those cases well outweighs 20%. - Comment on It is mildly infuriating that this community is STILL being used for actually infuriatingcontent 2 weeks ago:
