I’ve tried phone alarms / apps but this way seems to have a higher success rate. She’s also supposed to be dropping 2 times after 8pm but she likes her baileys so that’s up to her.
i’m trying I hope it’s logical :( it’s a lot of drops.
I understand the paper solution, but I’d still whip that up as a spreadsheet and print it out. Not because I couldn’t make such a chart by hand, just that it would never occur to me.
Interestingly the paper / handwritten seems to be more effective than a printed spreadsheet. I think that might be because we sat there together when I was drawing it up, was an activity to get her involved and get her thinking about time intervals for the various drops in the hope she remembers.
Sorry for replying twice and this is a significantly more effort intensive solution.
As it’s her vision reading it effectively might be hard.
Have you considered a smart watch she has to wear? It could vibrate at the time required and display the you must do this exact thing now, or maybe could be set to even vibrate differently based on the required task.
Watch would be ideal but she won’t wear it. But I think you’re right I should include the > 8pm
I’d personally include the after 8pm times so that she’s got a reminder and a subtle call out for missing them.
If it’s working for her it’s working for you too.
Also please make sure you scan it so you can print it next time!

Woke up from a nightmare in which Mike Ehrmentraut was following me around for allegedly shoplifting. I have been so tense and anxious over the sense that maybe I’ve made a horrible mistake and prioritised the wrong things. I hate this stomach-pit feeling… gotta suck up my choices though.
It will pass - moving house is a big life change. You done the right thing - just the process remains and that has an end date. Hopefully then you can relax a bit and do something nice for yourself as a reward.
It’s been hard to shake the feeling that I’m going backwards with this - but I think I’ll come out ok on the other side if I don’t dwell on the negatives…
Another fun human fact is that we sleep a lot lighter in unfamiliar surroundings. Sokething else that will improve in a little while 🤗

It’s absolutely the major topic of our conversations! There’s some heavy shit underneath it all. Already onto my sixth session next week… without any of that support I think I’d have had a breakdown

I feel like I should save and back up any pictures or music I want to keep onto a hard drive and maybe even have a few versions.
Annoyed that I haven’t done so already because it’s a complete no brainer but life has basically been survival mode for a very long time and any kind of organisation has fallen by the wayside. Even now it seems like a mammoth task.
While going through saving old pictures to my computer I found some of my old art. Doxable so I won’t post it.
But how the hell is it better and more prolific than my art now? To be fair it was basically just copying pictures I liked but there’s some original stuff in there. And back then I didn’t have access to any of the resources I do now, no education on fundamentals other than some completely forgotten lessons as a kid, nothing. I didn’t know to do frames or shapes. I just did the contour lines and paid close attention to the space between them. The hands are a bit wonky but I drew hands wtf.
I guess it’s just elbow grease. Which I’m currently so very short on 😮💨
Yeah I was surprised I even dared to go for it. I guess I hadn’t heard people saying it was hard so I wasn’t scared to try, and if it wasn’t good it was a skill issue so just try harder.

One of the things I pray for is my nephew to have a secure life full of love, so that they aren’t pushed into some of the scenarios and resulting relatively harmless but nonetheless questionable choices and that I’ve made.
I want them to be able to choose the right thing secure in the knowledge that even if it blows back on them they are safe enough in life to withstand it.
Having someone in their life like you who wants this for them (and knows some of the harder paths) will help them a lot. Knowing someone has your back and wants the best for you is one of the most important things. They are lucky to have you.
I hope so. I just have to make sure I don’t self destruct myself through one way or another in the meantime.

I would like pizza. I have a pizza base to use. But that would involve turning on the oven when my apartment is currently still cool. Dilemma.
Solution: have the pizza arrive by car 😁 the base will be fine until the next pizza.

TOO LATE!! I figured I am fighting a losing battle because I need to open a window in the space I use for drying clothes. I put on the exhaust fan and will hope for the best

Movie Review. Moon with Sam Rockwell. Pretty harrowing . I love how these guys are still so very human. Will watch again, I expect it’s one of those movies that you think about.

TV Review. Benidorm. Amazon.
I just couldn’t watch it so I watched every first episode and the last. Too histrionic for me but I can see how this series is made with love and respect for those who like the all inclusive holiday camp holidays.
2 hobbits tho it must have appealed to many as it had 10 series made.
I really enjoyed Moon. I saw it in the cinema with no clue going in. We actually missed the start of the movie we were going to see because of traffic so decided to see it instead as it hasn’t started.
I don’t think Ive seen any of the shows or movies you have reviewed since you began the hobbit rating system.
Do you gravitate towards any professional critics in particular ?
I don’t read any critics at all.
I do read books and listen to podcasts by movie historians , I listen to commentaries by writers and directors and podcasts by story analysts.
