I feel like they are doing it on purpose. Recently at work we got a bunch of Claude emojii in slack. There is one with a hand rubbing the logo or patting it or something. No one else seems to be noticing that it looks like someone rubbing a butthole lol.

That place seems like they put in the minimum amount of work to be considered a business. I went in one near me and the vibe is just weird. Almost liminal. The walls were bare and they had one or two people working tops.

Yeah but my company thinks that’s still the best way to announce everything so I miss stuff all the time lol

AI makes it possible to pay for skills you don’t have way cheaper than hiring someone with those skills to do it.
If you are a person with those skills you can provide what you want with better quality by doing it yourself. It just costs more because of the value of your time.
Same thing I am dealing with at work. They tell me to use the ai for everything. Now my stuff is taking longer and has more bugs than before. I hate using it because of this.
You can get it to improve by writing skill files and giving it a ton of details so that’s nice but there is always some new issue to add in. My job changes to management that I am not good at instead of what I am good at. I would much rather use it as the tool that it is and have it help with things I suck at and just do my own thing for what I’m good at but that’s against my company’s new rules lol.

I wonder if we got a group together to go on reddit and stack overflow and give really wrong programming answers and vote them to the top, if Claude would start sucking? They could always just revert to a previous model and it would probably be too hard to get enough people and content to have an effect with such large training sets. Maybe if you use ai? Lol

- Comment on Lutris now being built with Claude AI, developer decides to hide it after backlash 3 months ago:
I never said anything about not reviewing the code. You still need to review it and test it and all that. But using a tool to generate the code isn’t the end of the world. It’s just the next iteration of how we tell computers what to do. Saying no ai code seems like a recipe for failure.
- Comment on Lutris now being built with Claude AI, developer decides to hide it after backlash 3 months ago:
When we write code we use a compiler to translate it into other code that the computer can understand. Now we tell AI to write code that is then compiled into other code that the computer can understand.
It seems very similar at the end of the day. The problem is it makes the process easier. That’s what everyone is so upset about. And that’s only an issue because we don’t feel special anymore. It sucks but I’m sure it will pass. Even if it takes a generation
