  I don’t understand why anyone would choose to buy a console after this.

  I don’t think people buy consoles for the physical games… I mostly stopped doing that a generation ago.

  Sony has has a pretty strong list of exclusives still. In my mind at least. And I just don’t always feel like sitting at a desk.

  So unless you build another pc for next to the TV, your other options are a mile long HDMI cabele or remote play. Neither of these options are as smooth of an experience as just grabbing a controller and turning the Playstation on.

  The amount of people that leave things like youtube logged in on hotel room tv’s is also moderately staggering.

  I’m not sure why everyone is so upset about the price.

  Because this is a 6~700 dollar machine that is now this price because of Sam Altman and his competing AI cronies having gone full scorched earth on the hardware market for no good reason.

  It’s significantly less than a gaming rig with similar specs that you can custom build.

  Youtube’s full of people that build comprable or better performing machines in this price bracket. There’s obviously more to this steam machine than just performance, but it’s not particularly cheap in any respect.

  Ofcourse there are other metrics to considering yourself rich, some of which don’t necesarily have anything at all do do with money.

  But that is not what those online grifters that constantly talk about crypto and having a huscle mean with being successful.

  The amount of people that evidently don’t know what a passive income really is is wild. If you have do do something for it, it’s not passive.

  People that say you need a “huscle” need to remember capitalism only works if a large part of the population is happy just doing some menial job that pays just enough to have a somewhat interesting life.
