On today’s standard controller layout, it’s easy to use both D-Pad and left Joystick without a third grip. I don’t see how that wouldn’t have been possible in 1996?
- Comment on Veganuary 3 days ago:
If you plan to reduce your meat intake, you don’t have to consider anything, really.
If you plan to eat fully vegan, you should look up B12 supplements and make sure to get some proteins (beans, lentils, tofu etc). The whole nutrition thing is not as big a problem as you think it is, though. If you’re unsure, maybe get a blood test done after a few months.

I specifically remember bug reports about the giant cursor and the answer being like “that’s a feature though”
- Comment on Just like Drax in that Guardians of the Galaxy scene 6 days ago:
When KDE Plasma 6 was released and the feature was introduced, there were bug reports that it just keeps growing indefinitely. And the dev who implemented it was like “yeah, I know. I thought that would be fun”

- Comment on Why do some people have so many tabs open on their browser? 2 months ago:
I don’t save tabs between sessions because of my ADHD. Otherwise I’d drown in them. This way I’m forced to use bookmarks for things I really need and the useless clutter gets removed once I close my browser.

Y’all are so occupied by this whole Epstein thing that you forget to riot every week because your government is literally dismantling what is left of US democracy.
Okay a couple rich people raped children. That’s horrible, but does it really matter now? Do you think the MAGA regime will just stop their fascist plans once there is hard evidence? Trump is above the law and his followers only believe what he says.

Trackpads give options. Sure most first person games have controller support. Coming from mouse and keyboard, I still can’t stand playing those with a stick though. Trackpad + Gyro is an absolute game changer, I prefer that even over a mouse now.

- Comment on We don't use the word 'fascist' because we wish harm on anybody. We use it because words mean things. 4 months ago:
I am German. We don’t call it that. Nobody says Nazipartei, it’s NSDAP. Nazi Party is an English expression and has nothing to do with the etymology of the word Nazi.
Nazi is short for Nationalsozialist. de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi (the english version of this article points to the ideology of nazism, the original is about the term. Use a translator if you’re interested.)
It was coined in the 1920s and it’s not an American term. You call the party Nazi Party because it was the party of the nazis, not the other way around.

Nazi is short for Nationalsozialist though. The party wasn’t called Nazi, the members were.

Nothingness void is just another phrase for "irreversible loss of consciousness. Which is orders of magnitudes more believable than afterlife.

You can recycle it though and it’s economically viable.
- Comment on This Plastic Mr. Fantastic 4 months ago:
PET for example is also feasable to recycle. Problem with plastic recycling is mostly that plastic waste is not just one type of plastic.

Not preordering is about waiting for reviews and bugfixes, isn’t it? If you’re gonna play on day one regardless, of course pre-order makes sense.
