  My entire impression of HR at amazon warehouses is HR is there to onboard new hires and occasionally act as an equivalent to t1 tech support. You go to the amazon worker subreddit and about half the posts have comments like ‘yeah just call corporate HR they’ll fix it’ because site HR fucked something up.

  It’s a non-issue. Landfills are a negligible amount of land usage and the land can be repurposed after the landfill is decommissioned.

  There’s an industry article here. They still raise the males that slip through for meat which sucks. But Germany has banned male chick culling so as far as I can tell it’s all hatcheries in Germany using this method, possibly all eggs sold in Germany.

  It’s extremely rare outside of I think Germany but they have commercial in-ovo sexing for laying chickens now. Conditions for laying chickens are still fucked though.
