Dude hasn’t been paying attention- which is typical of everyone in every industry.

That’s not a take I would have expected coming from Konami. Good for them.

Being blindly ignorant of a very real threat to the industry is good for them?

Okay but Konami has been ruining their major IPs for a while. AI might have even done a better job than their recent offerings. I mean… Metal Gear Survive and Silent Hill Ascension are all the evidence I need. It’s hard to imagine saying human made content could be worse than AI generated content, but those two in the least present a pretty good case.

What’s been going on with Konami recently? They actually went back to video games, and even made a few good ones. Now this? Seems like they’re going in the right direction, which is surprising these days.

They’re in the middle of their capcom arc

Based on how AI tells jokes I sincerely doubt AI could generate a unique game concept that’s actually fun.

It already did by making it less affordable but what AI has definitely changed is the industry from the inside. By hollowing it out and driving young talent away from the big studios. And whatever happens next people will continue to make and play games. One way or another.

You’ll still get shitty triple A games and shitty asset flips, and work of art games that are worth every penny just like you do now, so in that sense I agree.

From the people who brought you games made by humans who fell over dead sitting at their desks.

DLSS 5 is just the down payment. Can you play rock, paper, scissors with AI? Or even better…can you play Chess with AI? Yeah, none of those games have great DLSS features, but it’s a start.

Okay. Hold on. Some people is working on last offline Pes game to bring different animations from different football games. So this can be significant change until Konami release brand new offline football game. www.youtube.com/watch?v=scK58dcPS4o
