Your first guess was right, you can tell from the napkin roll and shipping crate siding. I agree that Nopa burger is better for the price

That prime Argentinian cancer beef?
Malyca@lemmy.zip 5 days ago
You’re brave to order mystery ground beef right now. Highly recommend avoiding it for the foreseeable future.

This is why living rural is the best. I get my beef from a friend that has a bunch of cows. Same /w eggs, poultry, vegetables, pork, venison.
I have literally have pulled a Ron Swanson and met my meat before slaughter.

I just bought a quarter cow from a local rancher. Dude is independently wealthy and does it for fun. Great beef and I know where it came from.

I tried to buy part of a cow but i have on a website that made you choose your cow, like a lobster. Nope! Not doing that!

You can tell it’s artisanal and local because of the butcher paper.

assuming that's as packed with animal products as it looks, it should be much more.

Surprisingly low for SF - that’s a common price all over the place these days.
Which is why I don’t go to such places anymore.

Only tangentially related but I bought a bottle of OceanSpray cranberry last night and it was $7.75! I dont think I’ve ever paid more than $3 for a bottle of this stuff before.

Its a free market, they paid for it. Personally I wouldn’t have and that drives the market.
But lets be honest that a 8 to 10 dollar burger at best.
Buffalox@lemmy.world 5 days ago
Well it looks cheap, so there is that. 😋

How did you find this? Do you cross reference all posts on Lemmy, or [gasp] do you still visit Reddit??
SatansMaggotyCumFart@piefed.world 5 days ago
I went to Reddit.
It’s part of my daily routine to go there and click ads for an hour just to make sure Spez doesn’t starve.
