- Comment on 64$ the ticket, 1040$ surcharge. 5 days ago:
More like “extort fees”
- Comment on [deleted] 1 week ago:
Good idea in concept, but in reality it’s only used for money laundering and grift
- Comment on Is it unusual if I am a woman but I do not smell "fishy" down there? 2 weeks ago:
The “fishy” smell comes from cadaverine/putricine compounds. You don’t want that. It can happen during periods but shouldn’t be permanent.
- Comment on Why does everyone put celery in soup stock? 2 weeks ago:
I used to hate it when I was a kid but I quite enjoy it now. Same with cinnamon.
- Comment on Why does everyone put celery in soup stock? 2 weeks ago:
Carrots get sweet when boiled in a stew, it’s lovely
- Comment on Is it a bad idea to learn Russian because of everything? 2 weeks ago:
There’s never really any downsides to learning another language, provided you have the commitment and resources.
- Comment on Why do some Americans "feel ashamed" for being American even when it's not their fault? 4 weeks ago:
American education has always been a complete shitshow. Recently I realized that I never actually knew anything about the war of 1812 because the extent of what was taught to us in fucking NY was like a single page in a textbook. Unless you took AP you didn’t learn shit.
I’ve learned more about it now, I’m just pissed that my education didn’t actually teach me shit
- Comment on Why do some Americans "feel ashamed" for being American even when it's not their fault? 4 weeks ago:
I’m a citizen living in another country. I will NEVER FUCKING EVER call myself an American, much less a proud American. I’ll call myself a NYer because I owe most of who I am to that state/city, but I am ashamed about the country I grew up in.
- Comment on Is there an optimal home/apartment size that most people would be happy with? 4 weeks ago:
Most apartments I’ve lived in (2 people and a dog) fall into the 500-1000 sqft range. I’d say 1500-2000 is plenty big for all but the largest families
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
They’re meh at best. My ADHD rarely lets me enjoy them
- Comment on Is there a practical reason data centers have to sprawl outward instead of upward? 5 weeks ago:
Probably a combination of it being cheaper (as the others said) and data centers not really having to be near right next to cities. It’s easier to plop them in the middle of nowhere.
- Comment on What's happened from July to September 2025 that might make people Google "Worst timeline"? 1 month ago:
If I wanted to talk to AI bots I’d visit the comment section on any AP News Instagram post
- Comment on How are these ICE agents allowed to fire on protestors like this 2 months ago:
Because they’re corrupt fascists. That’s it. That’s the totality of it
- Comment on Was the fall of Rome this stupid? 2 months ago:
The circus is where all the outcasts of society go to form family. It’s often satirical, aggressively leftist, and deeply connected to the arts.
Signed, a circus performer
- Comment on Game developers desperate for you to join their Discord "server" 2 months ago:
I mod a server with 13k people, it’s really not that bad when you have channels, threads, and forums.
(Shout-out to DoMT for D&D)
- Comment on Why do we still joke about setting up old wooden guillotines? 2 months ago:
not that expensive, everything is wood
Oh how times have changed
- Comment on what's a good answer to placate the c-suite if you're accused of lacking motivation and being unfriendly? 2 months ago:
What are they gonna do, fire me?
Yes. Big corporations always have at least three guys with more motivation or fewer morals
- Comment on What would happen to the Earth if it got booped by a giant asteroid going super slowly? 2 months ago:
Gravity alone would start causing problems before it boops the planet
- Comment on Those who are against iOS and Apple in general, have you tried their devices lately? 3 months ago:
I’ve been using a whole host of Macs as my daily laptops for years and complain about the OS daily. It’s like a nanny, it’s fucking impossible to do anything on it.
- Comment on What happens if a world leader gets assassinated during a foreign visit by a *former* citizen of that leader's country? (Like: international relations wise) 3 months ago:
Spoiler: a band names themselves after you a hundred years later
- Comment on What happens if a world leader gets assassinated during a foreign visit by a *former* citizen of that leader's country? (Like: international relations wise) 3 months ago:
All of the above. Every single group will twist it to suit their needs, but those who control the narrative will ultimately win out

- Comment on Why is insulting people for their state (Florida) ok, but not gender or race? 3 months ago:
Being proud of your state is a choice. If someone is proud of what Florida is doing, I am going to stay very very very far away from that person
- Comment on Why are a lot of statues vandalised with traffic cones in Scotland? 3 months ago:
That’s insulting to us witches
- Comment on The sheer amount of websites that are completely unusable without JavaScript 3 months ago:
Virtually any form validation besides the basics HTML provides is enough to require JS, and input validation (paired with server-side validation ofc) saves both user frustration and bandwidth
- Comment on What age gap is too big of an age gap if someone's in their early 30's? 3 months ago:
I think you stumbled upon the Republican manual for dating in the 21st century
- Comment on If you are paying to use "AI", who are you paying and what are your regular usecases? 4 months ago:
Just because you don’t know it doesn’t mean it isn’t a word. I use it at work daily.
- Comment on what are the grievances with the "male loneliness epidemic"? 4 months ago:
It doesn’t sound like you’re surrounding yourself with the best people. They sound quite superficial
- Comment on what are the grievances with the "male loneliness epidemic"? 4 months ago:
And once you are 30+ it’s really really hard to form close friendships
I really don’t think age has much to do with it. I’m in my 30s and honestly find it easier since people are more adult at this age. People are less likely to play stupid games
- Comment on what are the grievances with the "male loneliness epidemic"? 4 months ago:
It makes me so angry with “the patriarchy”, because it isn’t just keeping women down, it’s also hurting and sometimes killing men.
I agree, I wish more men would realize that feminism also benefits men. Even things as small as being able to freely express yourself are hurt by the patriarchy
