I’m fluent in English and Spanish, et je suis en train d’apprendre le français
Though I will note that of course, learning a language that’s in the same “family” of languages as your mother tongue will always be easier, regardless of age. The jump to Japanese or Arabic from English is far greater.

While there is a point where yes it’s gonna be hard no matter what, I’m learning a new language in my 30s and finding it relatively easy. As an adult you already have a large vocabulary and know what more complex words mean, you just need to learn their translation.

- Comment on What things should I do if I spilled a small amount of scalding water from a kettle on my arm? 2 weeks ago:
Immediately after the burn, run it under cool-lukewarm water. Not cold, not hot. You may or may not get a blister. If you do, don’t pop it. Simply bandage it with nonstick wraps, the liquid in the blister helps your skin heal. If it pops treat it like an open wound. Aloe is good to use. It can sting like shit if the burn is too fresh, but does help. Better yet is an aloe based burn gel. After initial healing, keep it moisturised as you said.
Not a doctor or medical person, but I am a very experienced fire performer and have tended to all sorts of burns.

- Comment on 32, f. Are there any dating sites that are actually free and don't suddenly force me to pay to actually use the site? 2 weeks ago:
At the time, OkC was more for people seeking relationships. I did hear they took all the good features out of it though. I had used Tinder for 5-6 years prior to that without any luck because it’s only for unicorns and people looking for a fling. Not sure how it is nowadays

I reached out to them back in February and they said they don’t help US peoples. They were also backed up then, I can only imagine now.

It would probably have to spiral outwards around the Earth like the world’s greatest off-ramp

The other day I had some actually spicy Indian food, followed by two cups of chai. Delicious, but my lactose intolerance was the match that lit the fuse

I fully expect Trump to say something like “Israel has the right to defend its newly earned territory from Iranian invaders”

Bi and straight are not really compatible, but it could mean they’re bi-curious. Like mostly straight with some mild gay tendencies.
Asexuality is tangential to gender preference.

MAGA can hold multiple conflicting viewpoints at once. There is no logic to them, they will just go with whatever is useful for causing harm. MAGA is made up of the losers who bullied everyone in middle school and never grew up.
