  Oh I stand corrected then. My local is Best Buy is 10 miles away. I’ve picked up there a few times and seen drivers picking up there before.

  Did not realize they would also deliver direct from a wharehouse.

  Best Buy is not setup like Newegg. This is in store pick up with an extra step.

  It’s a good question. The flat fee is already covered by your item purchase, so at worst it would be 2.5-3.5% of the donation amount, which isn’t terrible.

  I don’t know your shop. Everywhere I’ve worked when an order is placed there is an order ID and fulfillment ID and shipping label created automatically, so the order status can be tracked both internally and externally.

  At any scale without these you’ll never be able up identify errors in the process.

  Okay in any fulfillment operation tracking occurs when an order is placed. You need to know when a label is printed, often when specific items are packed, and when that order leaves the building. Bigger operations will have more steps for the fulfillment chain and delivery if they do that part.

  From a customer perspective, even your mom and pop shop doing UPS pickup will create a label with tracking so the customer knows when their shipment has entered the delivery chain.

  Am I misunderstanding what you are talking about?

  lol I can tell you’ve never worked in fulfillment. Whether an order has been shipped is something you need to track.

  Being an American citizen does not make you immune from posthumous criticism. I think OP is displaying bias based on the facts of this specific case. If Harvey Weinstein got shot in the hospital instead and forums celebrated I doubt they would have an issue.

  I recently moved to a new state and one HD is like the upside world. Literally everyone in the store is willing to talk to you and help you find something. Literal opposite of every HD where I moved from.

  Well staffed everytime we’ve been there as well.

  Feel free to correct me as I see other comments saying the same thing, but I don’t believe Google wants you to spend a lot of time reviewing a specific search result.

  They don’t have refreshing display or video ads where time on site really makes a difference. They want you to click on a sponsored result, which is a paid action worth way more than a viewed impression.
