I know, I know, reddit sucks ass. I’ve been using firefox with ublock to read the best ofs for the unquenchable need for bullshit drama in my life.
But now it’s not just a pop up saying to use the app, but a full ass unpassable thing. Old Reddit still works, but that’s just another step for something that’s already so not worthwhile.
Welp…

- Comment on Valve Uploads Steam Controller Unboxing Video, Launch Imminent 2 weeks ago:
Not OP, but I used Xbox controllers for a long time. I kept breaking them (I have gorilla grip problem), so I got an Xbox pro because I didn’t like how the ps3 or ps4 controllers were laid out. I broke the pro controller.
I’ve switched to a ps5 controller and aside from getting re-used to the button names, it’s been really nice. Super comfy and is holding up really well. I miss some things on my pro controller, but so far this is great.
In all of that,I did use the OG steam controller for a while too and I loved that one, but my hands were too small for some functions, so I couldn’t keep using it.
An 8bitdo controller is next on my list after the ps5 maybe breaks, as I’ve heard very good things.

Simon Tantham’s puzzles
Löve Solitaire
Hole Down
Gridland is less casual, but I enjoy it. Turn off the music at first opportunity tho.

Not all of these companies pay hourly. Check the contracts and see if you can ask a worker who actually works there.
My ex got duped into a commission only job that sounded great on paper but was absolutely awful

Super Bunny Man and Heave Ho for multiplayer games. Single player is doable, but multiplayer is where the laughter really hits.
- Comment on Would it be silly of me to get a small dog if I am a little afraid of bigger ones? 4 weeks ago:
I’m in the same boat. I have a medium -big dog and I’ve had him for a third of my life. He is my most precious friend and I absolutely treasure him.
But I’m never getting another dog. Not because he’s going to break my heart when he leaves, but because of how much work and money goes into owning a dog.

The movie that came out semi recently was also really goddamn good

At least box elders are distinct looking. I’ve been getting elm bugs after moving to a different state and from afar they look like cockroaches. Eughgggghhhhh

I was laughed at just recently for this.

Personally, I played a whole bunch of demos.
Far Far West was a lot of fun, especially with friends. It needs some tweaks, for sure, but we played for a solid several hours just having fun.
Dobbel Dungeon was one that I immediately bought upon finishing the demo. It’s an adorable style, but I feel like the tactics are fairly deep? I’ve put in a handful of hours into it and am still rather enjoying it.
Hozy was another demo I really enjoyed. It’s like Unpacking meets House Flipper, kinda. Very cozy, feels good to play.
Vampire Survivors card game was also fun, but I’m not entirely sold on it yet. It feels like it needs maybe a little more work.
Loot -something? I’ve forgotten the title, but it’s similar to slay the spire and then resident evil 4’s loot system. Everything has to fit within your backpack, some items have bonuses to specific things. I had a helmet that would give thorns bonuses to adjacent plate armor, for example. Very interesting concept and I was having a lot of fun organizing my inventory. But similar to vampire Survivors, I felt as if it was lacking chew. But maybe I am comparing it too closely to slay the spire?
In any case, I had a lot of fun. It seems like this year will be a good one for games. :]

I really enjoy house flipper, but I didn’t realize there was a new “improved” game. I did play Hozy, which felt sort of similar, but just isometric. It was lovely and interesting. Maybe more of a mix between House Flipper and Unpacking

Had enough pain that finally I realized I probably needed some more intense treatment.
Ayup. Had an abscess that was creeping into my sinuses. There was a huge pocket of blood and pus that they had to cut open and drain.
Four root canals still didn’t save the tooth and I finally said pull the damn thing and let me go. Now I’ve got a big hole where a premolar used to be. Oh well

The PDF is a bunch of tables mostly, but it’s tables within tables. I honestly don’t think I care to try OCR into a CSV into python or anything.
I honestly loathe these documents and reading them so I’m happy to just pay for the help

I agree with the other comment about Haven, but I’ll also plug in Potionomics. It’s more gamified in terms of giving gifts to the chosen NPC you wanna court, but the voice lines and the way the love interest acts feels fairly natural in my opinion. And nothing ends after kissing, it just becomes deeper.
Buuuut that’s just, like, my opinion, man.

May I recommend Haven then

As a lady, I disagree with the picture. My nips are too sensitive and I get woken up from any little movement from the blanket or rubbing anything. With a shirt on, it’s like that sensory overload is muted.

I dunno. I’d have to look it up to be certain but in the USA Japanese beetles looks awfully similar but are brutal and invasive pests. So if it’s the JB instead of the LB, you’ve gotta find a way to get rid of it.
