- Comment on I'm a dev who has been working on my game for 2 years and my game title got stolen on Steam and they plan to release before I do. What should I do? 5 days ago:
I’m certainly sorry for your troubles but I’m not really seeing anything here compelling as to the idea of them purposely stealing something from you. It’s two games based on an actual scientific experiment. So of course the name is going to be the same cuz the name is based on the experiment. Of course the descriptions going to be similar because you’re describing the same experiment. The games themselves seem different enough that I have trouble believing you could convince anyone of theft here, particularly anyone at Steam.
There are a lot of games out there that are very similar. It’s just the nature of the thing. I agree with some other comments in here I think your best choice is to just change the name, maybe to something a little bit more memorable and original and rely on the fact that your product does look better. Certainly file an official Complaint if you feel it necessary, but I wouldn’t get your hopes up.

Obviously I can’t speak about your school in particular, however, usually it can range from something as simple as good working relationships all the way to major alumni connections. Hell, maybe just familiarity with options you have yet to consider. The point is they’re a resource that you should use while you have access to it.

Well that’s interesting because I liken billionaire real estate tycoons to war criminals that deserve to be brutally executed. What a coincidence.

You know in certain animal groups when a member of the herd or whatever becomes a danger to the rest of the group, say through some kind of disease or injury or increased aggression or mental issue, that heard will eliminate the threat to the herd.

When you say sidetracked do you mean something like what we’re doing right now because you continue to inaccurately describe the use of force? Cuz that’s what’s happening right now. You are misusing the word and it has caused the conversation to derail.
- Comment on Alabama is forcing incarcerated people to work at hundreds of companies, including McDonald’s & Wendy’s. Unionizing is illegal. The state takes 40% of wages. 4 months ago:
Again though, for the sake of accuracy, that’s still Force. Saying you won’t be eligible for something that you should be eligible for normally, taking away that opportunity via a threat is absolutely Force.

I would say threatening someone with more prison time absolutely counts as “forced”.

They weren’t suggesting Trump invented it. They were suggesting Trump plans to expand it, nationalize it, and institutionalize it.

I mean I understand being busy and not having time to cook dinner but $700? For four people? That’s like $100 a meal. Chick-fil-A ain’t that expensive. It’s pretty expensive but not that expensive.
