Hey! It’s already there!
- Comment on Could I get an autopsy done on myself while I'm alive? 2 days ago:
I think your have a poor understanding of what occurs during an autopsy. I do commend the documentation of high thoughts and think we need a community - maybe elevated ideas?
- Comment on [Serious] Why do so many people seem to hate veganism? 1 week ago:
That wasn’t one of the three, but I’d imagine there may be some crowds where you bring that up early and some where you hold off.
- Comment on [Serious] Why do so many people seem to hate veganism? 1 week ago:
My son used to tell this joke - little less relevant now that the giant hand sized vapes are less common.
If you vape, you’re vegan, and you’re a musician; which one do you talk about first?
- Comment on Why do people still eat beef when we know it's terrible for Earth? 2 weeks ago:
We only eat the fascist cows. And the homophobic chickens at Chick-fil-A.
- Comment on [Serious] Do you know of any processed snack foods with some vitamins? 2 weeks ago:
Have you tried Lenny and Larry’s complete cookies?
- Comment on So we currently have all these left wing folks claiming men are more dangerous than bears, why is the same group pushing multi gender washrooms so hard? 2 weeks ago:
A bear can kill you, but they can’t buy guns, so they probably can’t kill more than one or two of you at a time.
- Comment on Is triple triple the same as triple triple triple? 2 weeks ago:
Sometimes. We think a triple triple is going to be three triples, but in most cases a triple triple is just two triples. Jameson’s triple triple is distilled three times and then barreled three times. At In-N-Out a triple triple is triple burger and triple cheese. In crochet they call it a triple treble but in that case you do something four times and then do the same thing three more times. So that’s weird and it might depend on which side of the Atlantic you’re on. So I think what people think a triple triple is going to be (3 triples) is really a triple triple triple.

I did that. Kept jerboa.
- Comment on US foreign aid package: how is it financed? 3 weeks ago:
Part of the previous package was explained as… 1- send some of our old stockpiled munitions
2- pay US companies to build new ones to replenish
So it’s a value, not a lump of cash.

That TPM was good. Thanks for sharing.

Duolingo!

It’s not intention. It’s the expected quality of life afterwards. I work with kids who had no desire to die when they fell into a pool, choked on something, etc. Sometimes…

- Comment on How Much Would You Pay to Make Sure You Never Sawed Off a Finger? 1 month ago:
It’s not, but it’s pretty cheap for potentially life saving technology that you didn’t have to put your own time and money into upfront.
- Comment on How Much Would You Pay to Make Sure You Never Sawed Off a Finger? 1 month ago:
SawStop tried to give away this technology (no upfront costs, 3% royalties) and nome of the major manufacturers would take it.
- Comment on Which would you rather do, create art or summon rain? 1 month ago:
I would control rain, but i would try really hard to not tell anyone.
- Comment on Opinion | Why Has Obamacare Worked? 1 month ago:
I’d say it works. My son has had it for a few years. He paid $164/mo and his weekly doc appt cost $26. His job recently began offering insurance so he can’t keep Obamacare. Now he pays Cigna $140/mo and his weekly appt is $125 because they don’t cover it.
- Comment on [Discussion] What's your "this has bothered me for way too long" movie moment? 1 month ago:
Kidnappers always FaceTime the victims family. No one uses Android? They can’t take a few minutes to download Google Meet?
- Comment on to those of you wearing leggings, are the translucent bits fashion or function? 2 months ago:
What does the description say? Some, like these, specifically mention mesh panels for temp. rockath.com/products/nrg-leggings-full

Yeah, that would have helped.

Real conversation at my house… Me - You invited your friend, Taylor, to Thanksgiving?
Kid-Yeah, they’re looking forward to meeting you guys.
Me-Oh, is Taylor bringing a date?
Kid- i don’t think so. I told them to come over about 4.
Me- ??? How many chairs do we need??
So, while they singular is correct, it’s also confusing as hell!!
- Comment on Why do dinosaurs have big heads and tiny arms? 8 months ago:
There were some articles last year that said they think T-Rexes had small arms so they don’t get bitten off when competing for food with other T-Rexes.

- Comment on Those who are against iOS and Apple in general, have you tried their devices lately? 8 months ago:
I use an iPad for work. It’s getting better now that they have widgets and allow a little customization. I hate the app store and the keyboard (even with gbosrd installed it’s still clunky), and almost everything about using it. That said, it starts quickly, has good battery life, and is durable. Good device, terrible os. Android feels like the opposite - less reliable (more restarts) but much more pleasant to use. I haven’t used an apple computer in a hundred years but i dint remember it being bad. My kids use macs for design stuff at home and work and love them. As someone else mentioned, i think it’s ios that is hated.
