Can it get the trash into the trash bin and the recycling into you recycling bin? The intelligent thing in my house is lacking in this area. Also, with changing the toilet paper. Who’s working on these important issues?
- Comment on I just learned 37% of Americans fear vaccinating their dog will cause the dog to develop autism. 😐 6 days ago:
Children from international adoptions sometimes have something like an acquired autism - life is completely regulated and food and water and needed items are delivered and removed on schedules and the child has no impact on their environment. I had a couple of greyhounds that were trained to race as pups. They had some AU tendencies. I bet some other pups develop those to.
- Comment on Is it normal to be really sentimental/upset over a bowl I accidentally smashed? I had it since I was 17 (am 30 now) and my boyfriend was alive back then too. 2 weeks ago:

- Comment on when are the upcoming political elections held in america? 5 weeks ago:
Check out vote411.org
You can see what’s on ballots in different states. You’ll see that there will be elections in the spring for primaries - where they narrow the field for the bigger election in November.
- Comment on Why isn't the rest of the world doing anything about the USA? 1 month ago:
I’m mostly surprised that there’s been little response to the boat blasting.
- Comment on When baking, if your oven can't reach the temperature stated in the recipe, do you then just adjust for time? 1 month ago:
Could you add a small wireless fan to circulate air and make better use of the heat you have? Sort of a DIY convection?

There are so many songs that refer to gypsy. I’m not sure if I’m supposed to sing along or not.

Somewhere along the way that became southern engineering. My mom lived in Florida for awhile so it was a good dig at both the locals and the duct tape crowd -though i grew up repairing everything with duct tape and bailing wire. My husband is an engineer - right tool for the job guy. I’m like, "pass me that mallet and a wire hanger.)

I never thought of it as lazy, just kids that gather and maybe cause a little mischief, especially during school breaks.

My family is pretty liberal. Despite that i had a couple of words that i grew up hearing and didn’t realize that they meant until i was an adult. When you know better you do better.
To jew someone down when negotiating a price was one. It was just a word and i didn’t understand it until i thought about spelling it and realized. Yes, I’m dumb.
I work with kids and i often call them squirrels, monkeys, octopus, big dog, etc. i mean it as endearing and didn’t realize that it could be offensive, especially monkey racially.
My grandma worked at a convenience store in very racially mixed, very low income area. She referred to all of the kids as porch monkeys. I thought nothing of it but now realize it can be racially offensive. In her defense, it was a time when kids were sent outside morning to evening and often gathered on the porches of a free homes.

The world is increasingly hostile, but let me still seems more humane than any other social media.
- Comment on What is lunch like in exclusive private schools for rich kids? 2 months ago:
Our schools have had that off and on. Seems like they start it and then someone decides it’s against usda so it disappears and then comes back the next year.
- Comment on What is lunch like in exclusive private schools for rich kids? 2 months ago:
My kids took tae kwon do with some kids who went to a nice private school - not billionaire money, but known to be very nice. The thing that was really impressive to me was that they had a fruit cart that sat out all day and kids could go get a piece of fruit anytime they wanted. It seems so simple but that idea of stopping to grab a pear between classes blew my mind.
- Comment on Belfast Books has announced that they are removing all of Stephen King’s books from their website after he posted insensitive and false comments about Charlie Kirk. 2 months ago:
A used book store is refusing to sell books by a very popular author because he made comments about asshole karma? Didn’t Steve already get paid when the books were bought the first time? If there are less used books being sold won’t more people buy new books, which earn him more $?

When she graduates, she will likely look towards others who are closer to her age. Heartbreak sucks. IMO, better to back off on the romance in this situation.

I used to get that a lot. I was constantly carded. Once they wouldn’t sell to me, even with my ID, because I had the babysitter with me and they thought we were both underage trying to buy alcohol. When I was about 25 I started adding10 years to my age when people asked, just to see the reaction.
- Comment on What is wrong with being "Black Pilled"? 5 months ago:
I’ve never heard that term. I get that some people choose not to date, but don’t most people just live- go to work, grocery, social events, etc.- and talk to the people around them? I don’t really see someone saying, “hey, if that nice girl talks to me I’m going to ignore her.”

My phone broke last week. The only way to login or to have customer service look at my account is to have a text message sent to my phone. Its so stupid!! I had to drive to the store 4 times!!!
- Comment on Can it take months to get over being laid off? 5 months ago:
Good answer. Doc is the best answer but may be financially difficult. Some jobs offer EAP (employee assistance program) - it only gets you 3 free visits, but it is a start. Do some reading on depression. Try to find a reason to get outside each day - even if you start with a 5 minute walk and add a bit every day or two. Is there something or someone you can help? Sometimes you’ll do for others what you won’t do for yourself - a walk for the dog, a healthy meal for a spouse, …
