You think other people are the ones being obtuse here?
- Comment on My credit union no longer allows me to payoff pending purchases made on my credit card 3 days ago:
Sounds like someone is fraudulently using your debit card comment and reaping all the benefits. This wouldn’t have happened if you’d used a credit card comment instead.

I’m really interested in hearing your explanation for how it’s any different.
OP claims this stalker is also reciting facts from their public comments in an attempt to antagonize them too. I suppose you feel it’s okay for you to do it though since you seem to think you’re on some sort of moral high ground and “it’s different when I do it,” “this person really deserves it,” or whatever justification you need to tell yourself to clear the cognitive dissonance.

I’ve understood it quite well thank you. I would also be quite embarrassed making a chain of comments like yours, so I also understand why you’re now deflecting away from the topic and pretending like we’re talking about something else.

What’s your point, that you’ll gladly sacrifice your stated beliefs, completely contradicting everything you said previously, if you think it will help you win an argument? You should be a politician.
It’s hilarious how flippant you are here about calling the police or “Jerry” when you were previously so adamant about that being the best way for this woman to protect herself, proving exactly why that was a nonsense solution to begin with. Congratulations for completely demolishing your argument all on your own.

So your real name is “troed?” Is that a single name like “Cher?”
Funny that you take the idealist approach while committing the very act that you’re railing against as if your whole argument is worthless. Should I call the police on you and report you to fedia.io as you suggested someone do when dealing with an unhinged individual like yourself?

The few I have are set to private actually because there’s zero reason to expose personal information to a bunch of strangers.

Care to point out where anyone said this woman needs to step back and be quiet or does your whole argument fall apart without this strawman?

So lets hear your solution to the problem if you feel your idealist approach is the most effective way to deal with this.
Let me guess, you’ll suggest going to the police who won’t actually do anything or pay thousands of dollars to hire a lawyer who may or may not be able to accomplish something after months of time and a bunch of court hearings. Maybe even loudly announcing to this mentality ill individual that their behavior is wrong forcing them to back down as everyone around claps for OP? Yeah I’m not so sure that’s how things work in the real world.
Nobody is blaming the victim here but we don’t live in a fairytale world where good always triumphs over evil and justice is always served. You need to do what you can to protect yourself and we’re simply offering real solutions.

This is like saying you dont need to look both ways before crossing the street when you have the crossing signal. Sure, you might be correct but that doesn’t protect you when you get hit by a car.

Not a great result but not a great search either. Google is just searching webpages not a database of GPU prices.

I dont get how they skirt DUI laws. Where I’m from, you can get a DUI on any mode of transportation including bicycles and kayaks.

Plus yet another data point is the fact (if my memory is correct) that Romulans and Vulcans are the same species except one split off while the other devoted themselves to logic to control their emotions.

Maybe the updated version is:
Buy a Chevette that you drive at 55MPH on the freeway.
Buy Walmart jeans, dip your hair in Great Value bleach, and grow a soul patch.
Get a participation trophy wife/husband

No and it is shitty to implement this new authentication system after all these years, however should they just hand over any account to some rando writing an angry email? If that were the case, we’d be reading about that right now (“Rockstar gave my account away!”) instead of this.
- Comment on [deleted] 3 weeks ago:
False. There’s also:
Buying a Corvette that you drive at 55MPH on the freeway
Buying designer jeans, frosting your hair, and growing a soul patch
Getting a trophy wife/husband

Its legal here in Oregon but I know there are some restrictions especially surrounding cognition. Not sure if you could set something up now but “use” it later considering OP’s situation.
- Comment on When something still uses micro USB in 2025 3 weeks ago:
You could make the opposite argument here too. If OP no longer has any USB micro devices due to them phasing out over the last 10+ years (most portable consumer electronics wear out over that time), they’ll now need to consume more by buying extra cables rather than reusing what they already have.
- Comment on When something still uses micro USB in 2025 3 weeks ago:
If you want to talk about shitty USB standards, how about the Pi5 which requires 5V5A USB-C to run correctly, a standard that doesn’t exist anywhere else.
- Comment on When something still uses micro USB in 2025 3 weeks ago:
Considering $10 disposable vapes all come with USB-C, I can’t imagine the cost difference is really that great.

- Comment on ‘Star Trek: Enterprise’ Cast On How Series Was Last Hurrah For “Boys Club” TV Before Me Too Movement 3 weeks ago:
That may be how it turned out in the end, but that story arc is absolutely not why 7 of 9 was added as a character on the show.
- Comment on Elden Ring on Switch 2 Is a Disaster in Handheld Mode - IGN 4 weeks ago:
My gripe with the game besides getting my ass handed to me on the regular is that it’s way too massive yet still quite empty. Having to wander around exploring and finding nothing but some plant material is quite boring. I think my favorite layout has been DS Remastered where the Firelink Shrine is the hub with many spokes leading out into different areas that you definitely shouldn’t go until later.
I wound up losing interest jn the game and buying Demons Souls which has been fun and more like the Dark Souls and Bloodborne that I’m used to.
- Comment on Would it be weird to ask my brother if I could tag along when he goes out with his friends? 4 weeks ago:
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with this opinion and it entirely depends on their individual relationship. I would just warn to be conscious of boundaries and to not pressure the brother too hard on the subject. My concern would be OP shifting the burden of building a social life onto little brother as if his duty.
