In addition to claiming to be writing a movie script, you also claimed in one of your previous comments to be “stationed where you have a T3 connection” which is where I got the “soldier” part from but I can understand how it can be hard to keep all the separate stories straight.

The reasoning is more about investigations getting better at catching murderers after their first kill, preventing them from ever becoming serial killers.

What I’ve heard is that pollution (like lead and other chemicals) is what rotted children’s brains and made the murder rate skyrocket in the 70s, 80s, and 90s as they reached adulthood.

That’s fucking crazy. I think my 18 pack of Celsius is cheaper than that (per can) by quite a bit. I haven’t bought soda in a while but I always remember it being under $5 for a case. It’s mostly water.

People are probably more honest in NZ. In the US people are regularly screwed over all the time (usually by companies just like this) so we’re primed to screw over others at every opportunity.

The same reason why vapes are considered “tobacco products” despite not containing any tobacco and considered “flavored” if they contain any flavor (or no flavor) besides “tobacco” flavor (which is actually just caramel flavoring since vape juice has no flavor by default). It’s because politicians are stupid and short sighted and most of these regulations make little sense outside of government control.

Of course, but that isn’t going to drive consumer demand in a good direction and studios are already shutting down left and right.
They don’t need to switch to a streaming model in order to charge subscription fees, and streaming isn’t going to bring any benefit to the player (and comes with huge drawbacks if, for example, you have shitty internet speeds or data caps), so again I’ll ask why? It’s just adding tons of unnecessary bandwidth usage over the current model but offers no benefit that I can see to anyone involved.

I’m a diehard ME fan and completed Andromeda in its entirety and thought it was completely soulless character/story-wise. The gameplay mostly consisted of running back and forth across the map to retrieve items.
The original trilogy had an incredible story and incredible characters. The followup game, not so much. IIRC the studio abandoned the game pretty quick in order to work on their next release which further ruined Andromeda.

I doubt this is about bench maintenance and more about giving and excuse to chase homeless people and kids away from the area. In other places they just use bench designs that are uncomfortable or make it impossible to lay down.

Ironically, I’ve been finding myself using Netflix again after years (stayed subscribed for the wife and MIL) to watch One Piece, a show about pirates, since I can access it at work and also because they skip both the intro and recap unlike Plex which only skips the intro.

This is absurd. What employee anywhere wouldn’t ask for more pay? What employer is holding out on raising their employee’s pay simply because they haven’t asked?
Above you also commented that “they continually vote against their own best interests and don’t unionize” but what are you even talking about? Are you claiming most barbers are conservatives? Most barbers are independent contractors.
