    Once I was sitting at the Apple IIgs in my high-school's computer lab using some software with headphones plugged into the back of the computer. I went to wipe away the dust on the screen and got a static shock right in my ear. It was not pleasant.

      I wonder if you could find bright shapes on a black bacground. But Braille haptic devices and speech synthesizers did exist back then so that’s not a practical visually-impaired aid.

      i had so many grand plans for raid 5s and raid 1 + 0 etc and they are all pitifully small measured in gigabytes and lost to entropy and dust forever
