It's for Big Picture Mode, which can be enabled no matter what display you're using.

The way you're meant to the play the game is to get around 8 levels in your pre-Jedi class then get to Dantooine and end up with around 12 Jedi levels when you hit overall level 20. However, it is possible to avoid levelling up at all (except for one forced level up) before you get to Dantooine, and end up with 2 pre-Jedi and 18 Jedi levels. That's how I normally play.

I never played RDR, but I picked up 2 for $20 on sale. Bored me out of my mind. It's just "ride horse here, now ride horse here, oh, now ride horse over there". Never finished it.

The three Spyro the Dragon games on the Playstation were all fantastic. The first Spyro game on the PS2 (notably not made by Insomniac) was terrible.
