That's actually what's called a submissive grin. The dog knows he screwed up and is basically saying "please don't hurt me".

My dog did this to my 3DS. Fortunately I stopped him before it was completely destroyed.

Yup, you can see his right arm with the gun just coming up in the picture. He shoots him with an under-arm cross-body shot. He got arrested but the judge let him off due to extenuating circumstances.

If you look closely at that picture, the red part has a picture of a pencil tip on it and the blue has a pen. Make of that what you will.

- Comment on If a person goes "missing" and never found. How long does it take for life insurance to kick in and bank accounts resort back to the family? 2 weeks ago:
For something like insurance I believe you'd need to be declared dead for them to even consider paying out. And in the case of a disappearance a declaration of death can take years.

I was working at Babbage's when Bubsy was released for the SNES and Genesis. Accolade (the publisher) had somehow convinced upper management that it was going to be a huge hit so they shipped us three or four cases of the game for each system. We rarely got cases, usually half-a-dozen loose copies. So we crammed them into our tiny back room and they sat there for months. I'm not going to say we didn't sell any, but I certainly don't remember it flying off the shelves. At one point a guy claiming to be an Accolade exec came into my store asking how it was selling. Again, I don't remember exactly what I said to him but he wouldn't have been happy. Finally, after a year or so we got orders from HQ to box them up and send them back.

It was concealed by a plastic cover which blended in to the rest of the console. It was easy to overlook unless you went looking for it.

It's a Genesis 1 with a 32X with Sonic & Knuckles in the cartridge slot. That game had a flip-top with a cartridge slot under it so other games (specifically Sonic 3) could be plugged into it for additional functionality. The Genesis 1 also had a connector on the side which was used to connect to the Sega CD unit (notably missing from this picture). It's a 30-pin connector so it fits into the 32-pin cartridge slot. And then plugged into the top Genesis is a copy of Bubsy, one of the worst games released for the system.
As to whether it "works", at best you would get Sonic & Knuckles booting as long as the Genesis plugged into it doesn't connect to or short any pins in the cartridge's slot.

- Comment on What’s your favorite video game that most people didn’t like ?? 2 weeks ago:
It's been quite a while since I played so I don't remember all the details, but toward the end of the game there's some kind of emergency mission, maybe the base gets invaded. There is a small airlock-type room in the base you have to pass through to get to the start of the mission, when I went through it this time the "exit" door wouldn't open, and even though the "entrance" looked open I couldn't go through it. I tried reloading, loading older saves, etc. but nothing I did would get the game back on track. My only option would be to start over and I didn't really want to do that. So I moved on.

While not hated, most fans of the series prefer Darksiders to Darksiders 2. I personally prefer 2, I love the loot system.

Oh wow, that reminds me of another incident. In my early teens my dad was doing some home renovations, and had a bunch of power tools lying around. He had an electric drill with a three-pronged plug but only had an extension cable which accepted two prongs. So of course he just crammed the drill's plug into the extension cable as best it would fit. It worked, but left a good part of the prongs exposed. Upon seeing this I figured I could get the plug further in so I grabbed it and started pushing on both sides as hard as I could. Perhaps unsurprisingly this did not seat the plug any better but did cause my fingers to slip and contact the exposed prongs. This caused my entire arm to feel like it was numb and vibrating like crazy at the same time. It was such a weird sensation that I just had to grab the plug again to feel it a second time.. Reflecting upon this incident later I realized I probably could have been killed.

I once decided to see what would happen if I connected the terminals of a 12v lantern battery with an unbent paperclip. Turns out it glows red hot and hurts like a motherfucker when you grab it in a panic to disconnect it.
