Well, we will see. It would be stupid if Lemmy died because the users couldnt accept the opinions of two little devs, but sure, it may happen.

Weight classes to take care of body differences? Those are to take care of body differences in the same gender! Lols.

Its an app? No i still have a dumb tv. 50 inch plasma that has lasted 10 years now i think. And I like that its not smart, so it doesnt talk to random stuff on the internet.
I guess I will replace it soon but when I do, that tv gets no internet access. :)

The original post on lemmy.ml by the creator of Lemmy had a lot more details, so maybe just link to that one?

Well I dont pick those opinions to please you, so… :)
- Comment on Vitamin technology has advanced so much over the years 1 day ago:
Yeah very much. Now its about profits, so quality goes down and price goes up. Modern farming.
- Comment on Please consider supporting Lemmy development 1 day ago:
Yeah? I dont agree its transphobic to want women to still be competetive in the sports they are competing in. And thats my opinion.
- Comment on Please consider supporting Lemmy development 1 day ago:
You are paying for their programming, not their opinions. I dont think its a big deal if they have flaws or opinions i dont agree with.
So they dont like trans people. How does that even matter? Any trans person can use the platform anyway. The code doesnt have any opinions, its just code, and that code can be used to support trans people. The little opinions of the devs have no effect on this.

Those places suck and doesnt even have quality apps…

I have doubts its the same for the body. Vitamins from a pill and vitamins from proper food…

I was using the official YouTube app since I wanted to use chromecast to get a video up on my tv.
I havent used revanced, seems interesting also. But Newpipe just does what I need so im happy.

Yeah I have a few colleagues that did that too. But I dont want to support big tech by being paying user.

I tried YouTube today for the first time in years. Its unwatchable. The frog must have been slowly boiling for years to have so many people accept what Youtube is now. Just wow.
I managed to watch about 10 minutes but had about 5 ads during that time, taking up several minutes of my time. It broke my focus and I forgot what the video was about.
Back to Newpipe.

Im happy we are small, so we dont get fucking game installers with sign in and ads.

And its a computer program! It has as much value as getting “we are sorry to see you go” on a web page.

I didnt know it was a new studio too. Thats a classic mistake.
- Comment on Cities Skylines 2, Kerbal Space 2, Planet Coaster 2, Frostpunk 2... What Went Wrong? 6 days ago:
I wouldnt go that far. Skylines 2 has a new game engine. If it wouldnt have turned out to be incredibly slow, it would have been a very successful launch.
And I cant imagine anyone buying Skylines 2 if it used the same engine. Then it truly would have been no point. The new engine was supposed to make cities more beautiful and more realistic. They just didnt manage to make it fast.

Im 50 soon.
I mean sure, I no longer have excitement for IT. Ive seen so many trends and ive seen us just spinning the wheels. We dont actually get anywhere. Things get more complex and it solves some problems and creates others.
When I was younger, I actually got excited about stuff in IT. So that has changed. But still, its possible to work and just have a ordinary job doing ordinary stuff. Dont need to get hired at Google. :)

Reddit has subs for that but people are really not fair. Pretty people post pics of themselves and say they look awful. Yeah right.
- Comment on Yep 1 week ago:
I think guys usually look better when they get older. More charisma, confidence. Not all but quite a lot.
And I think the attraction level of genders change. Women are super attractive when they are 20, but its hard for them to stay attractive when they are 40. For men its the other way around… They look better at 40 than 20, and age better.
Of course just my opinion.

Its pretty much exactly like command & conquer, but its modern, so fun to play.

Well at least he wasnt joking about the jews controlling Hollywood. I still remember Mel Gibssons career going down the toilet after that.
- Comment on Tempest Rising review (PC Gamer: 85/100) 2 weeks ago:
No, unfortunately it doesnt. The scenes are more or less serious, so thats a bad sad, but its ok.
- Comment on Tempest Rising review (PC Gamer: 85/100) 2 weeks ago:
I bought it yesterday, its a modern command & conquer, worth buying if you like that sort of base building, resource gathering and massive fight kind of a game. :)

Fair points. Its just that so many soldiers seem to he traumatized by what they experience. If you didnt see much combat, of course you wont be affected by that.
I would fight for a good leader. Someone with wisdom, courage, integrity. Those people are very rare.
