We are living in the age where dystopia is being built up and all we can do is write witty comments online about it.
Its an interesting life experience and our generation will be the last ones who didn’t live in dystopia. 20 years from new, the west will be exactly how we think it will be.

Already running a dns ad blocker, but this wasn’t really a comment about how I personally avoid ads.

There is never enough ads.

The last 20 years was better and better browsers and web technologies, but the result now is a web that loads slowly and has tons of ads. Somewhere around 2008 was maybe the best, I dont remember exactly what year. But when the web was actually good and social media was not big yet.

It’s so cool how we all share this experience. It’s a bit like also knowing what life was like before mobile phones. No other generation will ever know.

Americans like the worst food. They also have completely white bread sandwiches with peanut butter and jelly. Literally just sugar and fat.

It was fun to watch all the media write about it as “flying car”. We are living in idiocracy.

Tell me about it. Sweden is completely under American control. If you ever played civilization, it’s fair to say that America has won a culture victory over Sweden.
But I know it’s only a matter of time before Trump stabs Sweden in the back. Sweden is just a resource to him. Now American billionaires started to buy large areas of Swedish forest in the north. No good will come from that, whatever their plans are.

- Comment on Upcoming Starfield mod introduces seamless planet landing - by Frederik Wessberg 2 weeks ago:
Yeah I did that when the game was almost new. And I dont mind some grinding for better stuff, it’s just that I felt that grinding was the entire game. I was hoping to be able to buy and sell resources and transport them across star systems for a profit, under the danger of pirates attacking me. Stuff like that. But its not that kind of game.

Yeah this is what worries me.

The best cars, although volvo has been sliding down lately and making bad decisions and having lots of problems with their new models.

I played elite dangerous for a while, was fun. But I got tired of griding for new ships. I was just going out to kill ships for money all the time. I dont remember exploring much… What is there to explore?

Also cars. Next time you look at traffic, try to see the amount of white, gray or black cars. It must be at least 80%.

We dont have this in Sweden. They are never next to massive road, not even in Stockholm.

Yeah this stuff is rage bait. If workers ever get 3 day work week, they will simply get half their salary as well.

I haven’t personally commented on this before so haven’t seen that, but if moderators shut down discussions about it, I guess we stick to memes. :)

What are you going to do with your guns? The army and police doesn’t have better guns, vehicles, high tech surveillance gear?
You can’t do shit even with your guns.

Some places on this earth are horrible and Im pretty sure if reincarnation is real, we are all going to experience this shit (or have before).

AI robots will do most tasks well before another 40 years.
But will that improve or worsen our lives? Probably worsen, since every year keeps getting worse.

America just cares about it’s own interests, and every time I see a country work with them, I’m just waiting for the betrayal to come.
