Had another blood test yesterday, and this time it bruised nastily. Gave myself the shakes yesterday when I took the cotton thing off lol. Had to get partner to put a bandaid on it for me lol 😂

  Lol, feel you there. I’m a nurse. Working in the community no less, which is the worst of the worst. Can deal with pretty much anything related to someone else. When its me? Hell no. Can barely remove a bandaid!

Sales rep flies over from another state and comes into the office this morning “oh, hi Spin! I’d give you a hug, but I’m feeling a little under the weather”, it took me all in me to just go “uh, sure” and not scream “DID WE LEARN NOTHING FROM COVID?!” Then I remembered that she’s from regional WA and probably didn’t.

  Have a mate living in Perth (moved there from here a couple of years back). Heaps of people there are convinced our lockdowns had military in the streets enforcing the rule of the law.

I just picked up Le Fay by Sophie Keetch and it’s written in an old timey style without being overly pompous or purple. Immediately I was just like, ‘hey, I could fuck with this.’ As long as it doesn’t get too slow I think I could read this one.
