RFK jr should lock themselves in a room and take like, 40 tylenol to prove to the audience the dangers of this drug.
Tylenol is the enemy

His brain worm is dead, though.
Poor fella starved to death.

That scene is the reason I won’t ever watch this movie again. It just so incredibly real and depressing. It shatters any illusion you may have that you will be a hero in a dire situation like that.

Well there were a lot of people who hid jews with more success and I dare call them heroes. You have to keep in mind that Landa was exceptional and he himself said most German soldiers were useless in finding hiding places.

But Landa was always a double agent for the OSS. His actions were authorized to secure his identity as an SS Colonel. Just like our dear leader and his time on the island!

Funny, that scene is what makes it one of my all-time favourite movies. I rewatch it sometimes just for that scene.

I want to see happy things on my tv.

Tylenol better sue for slander before the class actions start.
jaybone@lemmy.zip 3 weeks ago
The class actions cannot make a good.
outhouseperilous@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 weeks ago
I can think of one class action that would help.

I hope Kenvue (which used to be the consumer healthcare division of Johnson & Johnson) brings down an army of lawyers on these chucklefucks for the bullshit they’re spewing. Hardest part would be proving that said chucklefucks knew their claims were false though since it’s plausible that they really are this stupid.
jaybone@lemmy.zip 3 weeks ago
Is stupidity a defense?
betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 3 weeks ago
I’m just a simple country hyper-chicken so don’t take this to court just bec-buck-buck-bc-GAAWK!
Excuse me.
… because I said so. Stupidity may be a defense if the standard being applied requires knowledge that the statements in question are likely to cause damage to another. If those statements are true, no problem, that’s a complete defense. If they’re not, the lawyers get to duke it out in court.
Most often, that won’t come into play though since a lot of states assume that the person making the false statements does so with the requisite guilty state of mind. It’s not universal though which is why the non-stick dick might get away with this too.
I’m using www.law.cornell.edu/wex/defamation as a reference, any errors in interpretation are my own.

Landa was evil, but he was NOT stupid…
SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 3 weeks ago
that’s a bingo!
Reygle@lemmy.world 3 weeks ago
Ya’ just say bingo.
GladiusB@lemmy.world 3 weeks ago
He was stupid enough to fall for the Basterds. I do admit he didn’t have much of a choice and definitely had a chip to bargain with. But it cost someone else their life and him a scar for misplaced trust in someone he studied.
Wizard_Pope@lemmy.world 3 weeks ago
In conparison with RFK he was a once in a milenia mastermind.

Tylenol probably gives brain worms a rash or something like that.
ScrotusMaximus@lemmy.zip 3 weeks ago
Definitely interferes with brainworms metabolism once the acetaminophen crosses into the host blood-brain barrier.
