Wait… are they making pollution illegal? That seems awfully woke, Florida.

Na, “for the express purpose,” meaning if you have another purpose you can prove is the primary, say transportation, it’s fine.

Excuse me, are you a scientist of any kind? Then shut the fuck up.

Woah woah woah, this about chemtrails? I can’t believe I’m even surprised, really, but how can these idiots be focused on this rather then literally any of the actual issues that people are facing right now?
That’s a rhetorical question, I already known the answer is they want to handwave away real issues and only focus on the theater issues they themselves create to generate outrage.
But I mean, they want to outlaw the imaginary chemtrails? Didn’t have that on my apocalyptic bingo card.

If burning oil and coal can be considered weather modification and geoengineering, then yes.

Are there any major petrochem plants in Florida? Because their dumping of chemicals in the air when they burn off product does create acid rain which seems to qualify as a third degree felony according to their own dumbass definition. Or what about when plants explode because of shitty safety oversight? Those chemicals are definitely making the environment inhabitable and definitely modify the “intensity of sunlight” from the billow smoke until it clears up. Did republicans inadvertently make a green policy?? I’m sure when they get sued they will immediately add, a “except for these guys” amendment.

What a rube. It was the jewish space lazers! /s
humanspiral@lemmy.ca 2 months ago
The level of stupidity in Jewish Space Lasers being to blame for every US catastrophe is Zionists control the US already, as always. Even Soros loves Israel and Ukraine, and would attack their enemies instead. The only other alterative is Trump/Hegseth killing Texans now for unknown reasons.
Global warming is settled physics. While it makes more frequent intense storms, storms happened prior to global warming too. There is zero need to politicize physics. Only hair brained conspiracy theories needed to politicize attacks on physics.

I wonder how these people explain all the floods that happened hundreds of years ago

The hoops these dipshits will jump through to absolve themselves of any culpability… it’s pathetic

I’m dead serious when I say the average Florida politician has literally subhuman levels of reasoning and empathy. They’re basically a different species and frankly belong in a cage
