a few times they jokingly banned porn on /b/ for 24 hours or so, and it was absolutely epic. the content was so good. old users coming back and having a laugh. just like the golden days of /b/

/b/ is just nasty now. Even the YLYL threads are just stuff scooped from /pol/.
A few better boards, especially if you can find decent reoccurring general threads with regulars in them.
/tv/ should just be renamed Prometheus though. It’s incredible how much that one movie has broken that place.

Here’s the fun thing about greentexts: you can in theory write them on any other platform.

Check out the regular occurring generals and threads that ask specifically for people’s stories. GreenTexts outside of that are shunned because they don’t want the board spammed by blogposting.
A lot of the posts are shit unless you share the hobby. You will be sifting through so much shit to find something mildly entertaining. I would not recommend.

4chan’s captchas are some of the hardest I’ve ever seen, it’s not enough that it’s hard to tell what the fuck it’s written but having to align the text beforehand is just evil.

It’s why everyone is using browser addons or mobile apps that solve it for you. It’s not very resilient against computers solving them, it seems.

I swear to God I tried posting once but got my IP locked out from posting because I couldn’t get the captcha right before x amount of tries. Thing is at towards the end I was so confident I was putting in the right letters and numbers but it just wasn’t taking it.
