And you’re not supporting a godawful abusive company such as Nintendo.
- Comment on 'It Has Plateaued': Should We Be Worried About Console Gaming's Future? 3 weeks ago:
Honestly the Switch 2 is the only future console I have any excitement for.
Steam Deck or literally any other portable PC over whatever the hell Nintendo regurgitates next.
- Comment on Factorio 2.0 and Factorio: Space Age DLC are out now 3 weeks ago:
And the DLC costs the same as the base game lol. Fuck that.
Not to mention that in my currency it costs almost as much as some AAA games, which is ridiculous, it’s one of the most expensive DLCs on the store also and the game never goes on sale. I don’t care how good of a game Factorio is, this pricing is absurd and massively out of touch. 🤡

I wish Durante would be in charge of every PC port ever, guy is a genius, dedicated and everything he touches turns gold. We should clone the guy and have one clone for each game studio.

- Comment on Steam's new disclaimer reminds everyone that you don't actually own your games, GOG moves in for the killshot: Its offline installers 'cannot be taken away from you' 5 weeks ago:
Sure, and if you don’t uninstall Galaxy, go through some hidden menus and download the installers then your GOG games will be gone regardless.

… Unironically my most played Tomb Raider, I remember it being shit even as a kid but for some reason I liked it.

I’m using it already. Something must be wrong on my end if that’s not the intended behavior.

I’ll preface this by saying I’m using Droidify instead of the main app, but I’m pretty sure it’s enabled. In fact, let me double check… Yep, it is. Either my phone is fucked or I’m doing something wrong, because it always asks me to confirm updates.

Considering console still haven’t gotten GTA 6 that’s not saying much…
- Comment on Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare Coming to PC October 29 - Rockstar Games 5 weeks ago:
Fuck yeah. Already own both on my X360 but I’d gladly buy it again for all the modding bonanza, Undead Nightmare is a fucking blast.

On Android 14 and this is not my experience at all, I still have to confirm every single update on my phone, they download in the background alright but then I need to go one by one and confirm it.

Not to mention that the idea of the snake being Satan is a more modern interpretation, for a good while the snake was just a snake.
- Comment on Fields of Mistria is one of the most impressive games I've ever played 5 weeks ago:
I don’t really mind early access, but it really depends on the game, stuff that is very pick-up and play like roguelikes and shooters is fine, but anything story based or long is a hard pass for me.
- Comment on Fields of Mistria is one of the most impressive games I've ever played 5 weeks ago:
That’s like Rune Factory? I thought it was more like Minecraft/Terraria but top-down. It’s been living in my Steam wishlist for a while too now, waiting for a decent discount.

- Comment on Fields of Mistria is one of the most impressive games I've ever played 1 month ago:
I probably would’ve already gotten it if wasn’t early access, the possibility of having to restart a game that requires a lot of time commitment is a deal breaker for me, so I’d rather wait until it’s finished. On another note, I’m kind of tired of so many Stardew Valley clones, I wish there were more games like Rune Factory instead, less farming and more RPG and dungeon crawling. I think the only one like that that comes to mind is Sun Haven(?) and that one has been on my backlog since forever now…

- Comment on Junxions is a traffic engineering sim where you can finally fix that junction near your house 1 month ago:
There’s also a sandbox mode, for freeform experimentation, and perhaps most interestingly the ability to enter real world coordinates and generate a map based on a real world location. If you want to generate a map based on your hometown, and fix that forever-clogged junction on your commute to work, you can do so.
Okay, now you caught my attention.
- Comment on Horizon Zero Dawn Dev Addresses Criticism Over Aloy’s Remastered Look 1 month ago:
I mean, that’s a problem with the original as well. But it’s not because you live in a primitive way that you can’t take care of your appearance, if anything prehistoric people were already shaving themselves and styling their bodyhair for dozens of thousands of years before writing was even a thing. If you want more realistic characterization then give her sunburnt and rough skin, callouses on her hand, scars on her limbs, that sort of thing…
