Private school to pay for education.
Public school you pay for connections (education good also) see Eton.

Picking up girls and making friends mostly.
The rest is to get away from dancing/ loud music/ heat.
My ideal place to go out would be a location with no dancefloor just a bar and a smoking area where you can’t smoke. Unfortunately the vibe of the smoking area just hits differently and no one can explain it. It cannot be replicated. It’s magic in a bottle.

Queuing at the bar is fucking stupid.
It makes sense at times. Like at a stadium or if you got outside seating and there just one get with a barrel outside.
But a proper pub. Never been that way what the fuck is going on.
- Comment on Anon saved Portugal last month 13 hours ago:
I was once in (doesn’t matter what shithole country it was) and we was struggling to get on a flight because the queue was disorganised and staff wasn’t moving us fast enough.
This was the breaking point for a guy I was with and he said “I wish one fucking person in the country gave a shit about anything”
And sometimes it does feel like that.
Also worked with another guy that was very quite and kept to himself and was pretty calm. But he used to say whenever we had an issue “people just got to come in and do there job” (implying the fuck up was due to people not doing their basic job)

State schools.
- Comment on The Telegraph has deleted the seemingly made-up article 1 day ago:
Agree.
But why should some kids go to elite schools just based on who their parents are?
- Comment on The Telegraph has deleted the seemingly made-up article 1 day ago:
If you are smart and hard working enough you can get into the top units that not a problem.
But it’s pretty much taken as a fact that people that go to private schools will do better than if they went to a state school.
So if you get AAA* in state school, private school isn’t much benefit.
But if you going to come out with anything less or generally a troublemaker private schools might be better for you.

Private and public schools should be banned though.

The time of exposure was low. Asbestos was also outside and unbroken.
Insulation was only 1 attic.

Yea pretty much.
Put a shower pipe through a brick wall.

Oh for fuck sake is this another thing you have to wear a mask for?
My fucking dad I swear to god. He knows I got asthma. He had me install insulation as a kid and remove asbestos. I got fucking tinnitus from him giving me a drill and neither of us wearing hearing protection.

I’m saying from the 70’s to the 80’s things got less sexist, less conservative, more liberating, more free speech. Same thing happened from the 80’s to the 90’s. Possibly same from 90’s to 00’s (or maybe largely the same). Then 00’s to 10’s the trend reversed, then 10’s to 20’s that reversal continued.
Now here we are.
What I am saying is. Whenever I talked to people about university that were older than me it seemed better in their view and mine. Everyone I talked about university after seems it got worse in their view and mine.
Same for childhood and same for 20’s (2008 being an exception). I also noticed this about travelling to other countries.
- Comment on Anon talks to a girl 4 weeks ago:
I just spent two years living and working in Australia and New Zealand. Not sure any of that applies to me.
When I came to university and meeting girls/ having fun everything that came before me seemed better, everything that came after me seemed worse.
Its been on the downward for a while. Same applies to being a kid, though I did get someone a good foot in both worlds as a kid. Now seems worse than my time though.

I really feel like the world’s changed.
The last 20-30 has seen everything flip on it’s head it’s so weird.
Everything seemed more freeing and liberating, more open . But now everything’s gone to shit. Don’t even care if I sound like a boomer anymore. World is actually fucked up.

- Comment on French newspaper: The British elites always talk about their special-relationship. They claim the americans are their lovely cousins. But do US elites actually respect them ? 5 weeks ago:
Yes they should be.
But fuck they are the pettiest people in the world.
I’m not saying they aren’t a close ally, they are. I’m not saying we shouldn’t work with them more, we should.
But we aren’t going to have a close relationship with them because they can’t stand us or anyone else really.
Long term I feel like Germany is a much closer ally. Culturally they act much more similar to us. France only act closer militarily which is where the main focus of that relationship should be.
Canada, nz and aus should also be kept as closest allies.
- Comment on French newspaper: The British elites always talk about their special-relationship. They claim the americans are their lovely cousins. But do US elites actually respect them ? 5 weeks ago:
God no. French are the pettiest most arrogant cunts in the world.
The British will want something even if the rest of Europe agrees and France will argue about fish.

- Comment on Wales’s 20mph speed limit has cut road deaths. Why is there still even a debate? 2 months ago:
The scary thing is British driving ability appears on the high end of the spectrum from my experience.
The worse thing is speeding which is normalised.
The roads are just shit and full. When you go to a part of another country with same sort of traffic and narrow roads its becomes apparent Brits drive well.
- Comment on Wales’s 20mph speed limit has cut road deaths. Why is there still even a debate? 2 months ago:
Look you don’t understand I need to speed so I can get suck on traffic faster. It allows me to get to my destination earlier (I don’t care what proof you have that it doesn’t). Nothing else matters.
I will not be taking questions, just getting mad at people for not having common sense.
Go fuck yourself.
- Comment on Why do so many UK electrical sockets have an on/off switch next to them? 3 months ago:
Yes. I believe that’s true but I’ve never done it myself.
- Comment on Why do so many UK electrical sockets have an on/off switch next to them? 3 months ago:
Yea I know, I said that.
People still call them fuse boxes though.
- Comment on Why do so many UK electrical sockets have an on/off switch next to them? 3 months ago:
Yea I know, I’ve wired a plug.
Never seen a fuse in a socket though. That comment is completely wrong and yet it’s the most up voted reply.
