And all the small vape shops who aren’t selling black market vapes to kids get shutdown while chemist fucking warehouse gets the profits.
I am so fucking disappointed in this government.

Did I dream frozen baby green beans because I can’t find them for like ever? I don’t need my beans cut for me, thanks. Maybe they were stunted ordinary beans and I got sucked in.

Just say voting in this year’s logies is compulsory, who are you voting for to win the Gold Logie for Most Popular Personalty on Australian Television? Nominees are:
▪︎ Andy Lee
▪︎ Julia Morris
▪︎ Larry Emdur
▪︎ Robert Irwin
▪︎ Sonia Kruger
▪︎ Tony Armstrong
▪︎ Asher KeddieTinyBreak@aussie.zone 5 months ago
I dont know who half these people are, and the other half I dont know what shows they even have on.
MeanElevator@aussie.zone 5 months ago
I’ll just pay the fine and not cast a vote. I would also match the fine amount with a charity donation to make sure Julia Morris doesn’t win.
Duenan@aussie.zone 5 months ago
Going to go Andy Lee, a favourite of mine.
CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 5 months ago
Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.
Gibsonisafluffybutt@aussie.zone 5 months ago
Robert Irwin because he seems really authentic.
underwatermagpies@aussie.zone 5 months ago
Obviously Tony Armstrong. Talented, charismatic, seems to genuinely not be a dick.
But I would never actually vote.
CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 5 months ago
I like Tony too. He seems real. Not showbiz fake.

Happy birthday! I’ve been saving this: 🍩 from chef’s after 8 stash, but you can have it
Thornburywitch@aussie.zone 5 months ago
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Much happiness and prosperity coming your way. Also possibly a kitten of your own in the next few months. The cat distribution system has had some glitches recently, but all seems good now. I would recommend checking behind your pot plants on the balcony every few days just to be sure.

Following a meal plan as part of a fitness challenge. Spent three hours meal prepping today for the next few days. It’s a bit of a headache having to figure out when to cook what, but I really got into a flow state.
Not sure what I’m going to do when uni goes back, but maybe I’ll just spend all day on a Sunday cooking and freeze stuff.
Cooking is actually fun.

What kind of cat is he?

Just a standard tabby 🐱

Chipping away at render while carolling a sucession of 80’s hits that only someone who lived through the 80’s would put on a playlist. Greatly amused my neighbours bawling out mi-sex while swinging a five pound hammer

So I have garlic bread, but I don’t have an oven. Reckon it’ll cook up alright in a frying pan?

Baku@aussie.zone 5 months ago
I don’t know what that is, but they turned out good!
Nath@aussie.zone 5 months ago
If you have the budget, I recommend you get yourself an air fryer. I know that doesn’t really help you with your present problem. I don’t know whether you can cook it up in a frying pan. I’ve always had access to an oven.
You can probably cook it up in a Microwave, but take it out of the foil first.
Baku@aussie.zone 5 months ago
We have an air fryer at home, but I’ll only be here for 2 weeks at most, so it doesn’t seem worth it to buy for one I won’t need for very long.
And these are also ones, so they spare all expenses. No foil provided
dumblederp@aussie.zone 5 months ago
Break it up into its slices then fry each side.
CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 5 months ago
Should be ok. Separate all pieces first and if you can put more butter or oil on each piece, that would make it better. Low to medium heat.
tombruzzo@aussie.zone 5 months ago
I bought a puck light from Reject shop for the kids to play with. I thought they’d all be the same but apparently ‘you get what you pay for applies here too’.
The button is already busted and hard to press, and the magnet can barely hold the weight of the light itself. That’s the sort of thing I assumed would be the same everywhere
Seagoon_@aussie.zone 5 months ago
I recently bought a medium size candle from a dollar store, cost $5, it won’t burn properly because the wick is too thin for the wide candle. This is a bit of manufacturing cost cutting that is surprising and annoying.
Nath@aussie.zone 5 months ago
I had a bunch of these from Ikea when the kids were little. Very useful when the kids awoke in the middle of the night. They were strategically placed around the house, I remember one being in the kitchen another in the bathroom. One in their room.
They were <$5, used 3x AAA batteries that lasted ages and had great magnets. If you have a real use for them, I recommend the Ikea ones. Of course, the real challenge with Ikea is actually walking in and out and only buying the $5 you went in there for. I’ve never managed it.
tombruzzo@aussie.zone 5 months ago
I have some other lights around I use.I’m sure I could find some at Jaycar or bunnings as well.
The kids just love to turn them on and stare directly into them
