Due to being so far from the sun the Voyager can’t rely on solar panels. Someone at NASA cooked a fish like this and put it on the probe. The heat it still radiates will keep powering it for millenia.

- Comment on sleep paralysis 2 months ago:
I’ve had this since my late teens. It’s more common when you have irregular sleep patterns. Nowadays it’s more rare.
It’s scary shit, specially if you panic. In time I’ve learned to control it when I have an episode and mostly succeed. But occasionally I still panic, but not like before.
Wiggling a toe will make the movement come back slowly and if you recognize what’s happening and keep calm you’ll avoid the most disturbing hallucinations. You can even succeed in controlled lucid dreaming during an episode.
I never saw the demon but I have felt its presence. It’s actually not as scary as it sounds. The scariest hallucinations were actually feeling people had entered my room and were intending to hurt me and I couldn’t budge. Once it happened with my old landlord when I was in college. He lived upstairs and I had an episode after falling asleep in my living room. I heard him enter my unit and saw him stand over me talking gibberish. It was so unsettling. I finally moved in a panic and I was by myself. He was actually a very chill guy, best landlord ever.
A few times I was unable to move, alone in the dark, and suddenly moved unexpectedly only to see my girlfriend or room mate towering over me and tell me I was moaning heavily in my sleep and thought I was having a bad nightmare. I’ve wondered how many of the sleep paralysis are actually nightmares and we ARE asleep.

I was playing Orbiter long before KSP came along. It taught me all I know about orbital mechanics. It helped ease the learning curve in KSP a lot. But after KSP came along I completely lost interest. KSP is a lot more fun and there’s a lot more to do.
Still had a laugh when my friend who made fun of me for playing orbiter ended up buying KSP, getting frustrated, rage quit and asked for a refund.

Palestinians themselves, like Jews, descend from the ancient Hebrews. While the Jews left and (somewhat) assimilated in the lands they moved to, Palestinians were assimiliated by the Romans and Arabs. While their language and religion changed they are basically the same people.

Screens should be flat out banned in cars
Can’t say I agree. The appearance of GPS was a game changer for me and a lot of people. I still remember the old days where every time I picked the car in an unfamiliar place was a gamble. I can’t even count how many gas I wasted going in circles looking for a reference. Found road works? I’m fucked again, I guess.
No, I don’t miss those days at all. Now, if you want to tell me infotainment screens need strict regulations, that’s another story. Nothing beyond android auto apps, radio and options that only work in a full stop should be allowed. But “voting” with your wallet works. When I bought my car I was indecisive between 2 of them. The fact one of them had most stuff in a infotainment that was below the driver FOV made my choice easy. The one I bought has most buttons as physical ones. The only the radio isn’t. The screen is small and I can use it without taking your eyes off the road (which I only use for google maps, spotify and taking calls).
It’s also our responaibility as buyers to know what we’re getting. I see a lot of people complaining about stuff in their car they should’ve known while they were still in the looking phase. If you can’t research the car you’re buying before you buy it then you deserve all the disappointment.
