He didn’t suffer as much as the pain he’s inflicted upon others. He also didn’t bankrupt his family in the process.
I can’t say this is the way I want society to run … but quite frankly I think we’re all sick of pretending that killing someone with a pen is any different than killing someone with a gun.

Okay, maybe sub-genre is the proper phrase I was thinking of. Thanks!

- Comment on I'm going to try not to swear when you're around. Is this a good apology to a coworker? 1 month ago:
I remember working in the London UK office and we curse non-stop over there it’s great. Whenever our colleagues from SF would visit they would always be surprised how much we swear. I’d see them do the turnaround like, ‘what just happened?’.

lol, it’s alright, it’s cold communication on the Internet. I also genuinely thank you for both replies!

I mean I think I understand the argument for your distinction. I don’t play either games, I just watched VFX artists reaction and say Snoop Dogg in it so I was wondering why it’s such a big deal with Tencent. As he does seem to “dance” in CoD: www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdhPvXhXoUM.
I may take slight issue with your last statement. To be clear, I’m not trying to have a “dishonest discussion”, I genuinely don’t understand the distinction and there isn’t really an article or anything here for me to clarify.
Thanks for your input on it though.

Sorry I couldn’t help myself. I saw every MCU movie from Shang Chi to Iron Man. I stopped afterwards.
I can’t describe why? I think I have such a fond memory of Endgame and beforehand that when I hear these movies do poorly I don’t want to soil my memory of it.
- Comment on Disney lost nearly a third of a billion dollars on two Marvel movies 2 months ago:
Agreed, I felt the “monster” or evil behind the door was better left a mystery for a later movie or something else. The heart of the movie to me was the relationship between the characters.
The father-son-daughter struggle for an ending would have been better to me. I think Marvel can take risks but they need to take risks like not having a third act battle all the bloody time!

Infinity War, Wandavision, first Ant-Man is solid, Guardians of the Galaxy, Winter Soldier, Unbreakable … does Chronicle count?
I think Shang Chi was good up until the MCU ending up until the third-act it felt like a completely different type of film which is what I was happy about

I’ve defended Chappelle a lot, seen him four times live in London UK. I’ve liked a lot of work and specials. However there’s some stupid fascination with hurting trans people.

A now-viral map showing the thousands of entry-level and low-wage positions that are being filled with foreign workers in Ontario has now been followed by subsequent social media posts about Tim Hortons specifically, which users have calculated hired a whopping 1131 per cent more temporary foreign workers in 2023 than in 2019.
Great, we got them. Now let’s hit them … There’s no reason we should let them get away with this.
