I’ve been watching a lot of Scrabble videos on YouTube. I don’t know why and there’s a phenomenon on the best players in the world challenging really obvious words because of the quirks of the language.
In the video below you can see an example of where someone challenged “bus” because “bu” isn’t one of the many two-letter words they’ve memorized and so pluralizing it is also invalid.

I saw an episode where he decided to climb up onto some train tracks when he was lost and like headed into a tunnel. They “assumed” there were no trains and then it came last second and they were running and barely made it.
I think it’s obvious bullshit.

The world would be better if we had better empathy for each other. I don’t think the poster thinks that men’s problems don’t exist. However so many men seemed to have interpreted it that way. I think the poster is just asking for empathy. There’s no need to be defensive about it if you’re a guy. All they’re asking for is awareness of their problem. We can do better than just dismissing their concerns outright.
