This is why people on Lemmy can be naive. A lot of people on Lemmy say the Dems need to take X position or need Y policies to get the Republican voter base.
It doesn’t matter. They vote against their best interests and they’ll do it again. They have no beliefs.

Exactly! Their only belief is to hurt the other side. It’s sports to them. The patriots head office said they were better off without Brady. Fuck off. That’s a lie and they know it. It’s all just trying to jerk off to their own image. Just like republicans now. War was bad 6 months ago, because being pro war was a bad sound byte during election season. Now that the election is over, lets fuck the world up, and get onboard with that!
Meanwhile I’m just sitting at home, sipping my tea, and realizing that at no point in my life have I ever been happy, and can’t forsee a path to that happening.
