I’m not as anti-AI as some folks on here tho, especially since LM-Studio is a thing with assortment of models to run locally. Probably would have few psychotic breaks by now from loads of paperwork I have all the time if not for these models.
But I draw the line at creative work. If half of the workflow is vibe-something - then it loses the creative part. Not to mention that with 3D modelling specifically (what interests me personally) it’s just an illusion of going faster - one will just waste a lot of time fixing and remeshing mess that AI gave out.

So it’s been few times actually with different tutorials - but mostly 3D modelling and CAD as it’s what interests me personally.
But to honest - what prompted me to make this meme was actually a sponsored segment for generative AI service in a otherwise non-AI video.

I would argue that both liberalism and leftism are spectrums and parts of them overlap, so it’s not like one ≠ other. After all, any participation in democratic process means going reforms and regulations way, even if the endpoint is abolishing capitalism, which would be a logical goal for democratic socialism, for example.

I’ve turned down few job offers in my time because those would have me work on online gambling systems and shit.
I know people who still chose to work in there, whose motivation was something like “If I didn’t scam these people - someone else would have”. And what I think after all that - if person’s job is detrimental to society - this person doesn’t matter, even if they’re working hard, 9-to-5, all that shit.

It’s never Ukraine that fights back, it’s ye fiendish Anglo-Saxons, Americans, CIA, NATO mercenaries or whatever, especially with most successful operations like Moskva sinking and “Spiderweb”.
And that is just natural continuation of Russian attitudes since early 90’s, with first Yeltsin blabbing “they will all come crawling back”, while negotiating Russian military presence in Crimea, and then putin lamenting loss of Ukraine and Kazakhstan in early 2000’s. For Russians it’s simply inconceivable that colony would just break away given the chance, it must be someone else pulling the strings.

So, you may have noticed that 5 GHz Wi-Fi has smaller coverage area than 2.4 GHz.
It works that way all the way down to infrasound, which is <20 Hz, and natural examples would be whale communications (thousands of kilometers) or volcano eruptions (infrasound wave from Krakatoa eruption lapped around entire globe multiple times).
As for human factors - basically any big industrial tech object is gonna be the source of ultrasound. So it’s kind of safe to assume that infrasound from data centers may be “heard” from at least several kilometers away. Dunno how it compares to refineries and power substations - but they’re also source of that.

Infrasound. Proven negative impact on people’s health and general wellbeing, waves travel quite far and have high penetration, and data centers are absolutely the source of it with all the fans and pumps.

There was that thing with memes that if corporate social media people posted some meme - that would be akin to that specific meme’s death certificate. Like, people had fun with something, and now there’s corporations trying to buddy up, and it’s bo fun.
So… kinda the same thing with celebrity endorsements. Immediately makes things feel 10x less genuine.

Had a situation twice where one particular friend would antagonize other one (different people in both cases), and after some time rest of us would have that “oh!” moment, with that second friend no longer being a friend now.
As for myself - became good friends for almost 10 years now with a person who’s first impression to me was not good to say the least.
