I mean, when you literally sign up to be cannon fodder, I don’t know what you expect. America has always treated troops and veterans like livestock. You could simply choose a career other than oppressing the third world for oil profits.

I’m gonna be real with you:
Comparing Universal Healthcare to Prohibition is the single worst pro-universal-healthcare take I’ve ever heard. Prohibition nearly broke this country. People lost their faith in the constitution, crime skyrocketed, people started dying from poorly distilled liquor and poisoned ethanol. It was a constitutional disaster.
Your other examples were acceptable, but I’d maybe leave the puritan moralizing constitutional amendment out of any future comparisons.
- Comment on If someone's injected with cancer cells, they develop cancer. Could at least part of the increase in cancer be to do with people getting cancer cells inside their bodies, similar to a viral outbreak? 2 weeks ago:
This clown keeps citing Charles Southam as if he was a respectable scientist whose experiments produced reliable data. I doubt they care about discrimination against cancer patients given that they hold esteem for a man convicted of crimes related to performing experiments on cancer patients without their consent.

This was one experiment by a guy who was criminally convicted for his illegal methodology for the same experiment. His experiments never reached the conclusion you are claiming, generally because his victims were cancer patients who already had cancer.
Half a century of medical research following this experiment suggests that cancer is not contagious in any real way. Comparing this to HIV is wild when in your OP you claim that transmissible cancer is somehow airborne. Apparently you think that people are just breathing out lung cells or something…
Your whole tone here is coming across as “14 year old who just read about a medical atrocity and thinks it would be edgy to evangelize human butchery as respectable medical science”. Southam was a quack, and treating his experiments as scientifically sound is a form of malice.

Southam’s experiments never proved anything. They earned Southam multiple criminal convictions for experimenting on people without their consent. His victims already had cancer, because he experimented on cancer patients. Stop spreading medical disinformation.

The audacity to ask for the raw, unprocessed photos for a lower price, and then complain that they look boring.
You wanted the raws. Process them yourself.

Wow, they went from a gluttonous ball of fried chicken half the size of your head, to a perfectly reasonable portion size that would feed an adult. Outrageous.

No, because too many Democrats can’t even recognize genocide when it is happening right in front of them, and while I understand that we have to “play the game” in our two-party system, Democrats have given me no reason to support their party at a policy level.
- Comment on Why do so many people regardless of whether their reasonings are justified or not pinpoint South Park for ruining a generation of millenials? 4 weeks ago:
One one hand, South Park has expertly satirized current events for its entire existence, and the writing is genius.
On the other hand, it pretty much gave all the worst school children in the 2000’s permission the scream “fag” and “jew” all the time because they didn’t understand that Cartman isn’t supposed to be a role model.

It is pretty funny to me that AI has made people completely forget that things like Photoshop and Blender exist, instead categorizing all content as “100% real” or “100% AI”.

It’s not an installable app, it’s a alternative web frontend admins can install on an instance. You basically just log into a different URL on the same instance domain, and get a different UI from the same data.
Smiliar to Elk or Phanpy for Mastodon.

I don’t even think this is selfish. It’s only selfish to put yourself first when you have kids who depend on you. People choose the responsibilities they take on in life, and you don’t owe the world anything here. If you don’t have kids, you’re able to do more for yourself, and anyone who calls you selfish for it may actually be a bit jealous, in which case they should reassess their own parental priorities.
