God I love that painting. The history is horrifying but the emotion captured in his eyes is just masterful

People don’t think this is real, do they? sushi and pancake luncheon? This is hilarious and I love it but it’s just humor and not something to take seriously or analyze that deeply

I don’t think I quote any single movie more than MiB. Perfect comedy with some thoughtfulness. Great example of “believe it or not back in my day Will Smith was actually cool”. Edgar is the most incredible physical acting example ever. Everyone in that movie killed it.

This show went hard. Basically Disney’s answer to Batman TAS but also dumber in a fun way

John waters. As a young straight kid in a religious household in the south he was the first person that showed me there can be humor that involves lgbtq+ people that isn’t hateful or dismissive, followed by David Sedaris. And strangely enough it was through comedy that I first feel empathy for people I had been indoctrinated to hate. He’s definitely out there and quite honestly a lot of his stuff isn’t to my taste but he’s got some great material

Oh wow I can’t believe Cynthia Erivo used to look like a human being. I very much believe people should look however they want, and style themselves in a way that makes them happy instead of trying to appeal to others or mainstream sensibilities—admittedly though looking at that image it’s kind of hard for me to understand why she would want to look like that

We’re used to a lot of owners and managers of convenience stores (I think this includes corner stores?) and gas stations being naturalized citizens and foreign nationals. Idk how that got started or how widespread it is, how much of it is a true demographic vs confirmation bias of what we see portrayed in entertainment and media—but either way there is a clear concept of people in that line of work, true or not.
