  I remember when I was a kid, I was eating a banana and suddenly felt something hard and crunchy. It was one of my baby teeth that was already super loose finally coming free.

  I developed a habit way in my childhood.

  You swallow. Then you tell yourself it was a peppercorn or some other bullshit. Unless you bit on something crunchy and super toxic, chances are you save yourself the disgust and loss of appetite.

  But obviously check the rest of the food, just in case.
