“Uncomfy” is obvious, but what does “gen” mean in this context? And anyone know what F/O stands for? I assume it’s some stupid “yumeship” version of S/O for significant other.

Is this clinical definition of brainrot?

I can’t even understand what they’re trying to communicate and I know three languages and five programming languages.

This must be lingo specific to a microculture of the internet. Some game, place, age bracket, I dunno.

I had to research this the first time I saw it.

The person writing the messages told an LLM to act like someone and has a “romantic relationship” with it/the idea of the person in their head. They are asking the real person to leave their partner because they’re jealous.

Real stable-brain stuff. (Read: AI psychosis)

        First I’ve heard “yumeship”. www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=yumeship

A yumeshipper - or a Yume - is someone that cherishes and loves a fictional character so deeply, they see themselves with that character.

        “Yume” means “dream” in Japanese.

        “F/O” apparently means “Fictional Other”.

I’m not sure if they understand the difference between real people, fictional characters, and chatbots.

I actually think the more actual languages you know, the less likely you’ll be too understand any of this

This is so laden with keywords, there’s no way that person was being serious

Some people live in little self contained bubbles, and their language can change to reflect this truth much faster than you’d think.

Little bits of slang and terms that exist no where else.

Cults do it all the time with some degree of intent, but any subgroup will develop their own language.

It’s have existed it to be a lot more coherent if they did. I can’t figure what the fuck they’re taking about.

If you cut this person’s head open, you’d find a void that could rival the emptiest regions of deep space.

I can think of only a few reasons a simulated version of me would do this:

    1. Trying to contact me in a way the user wouldn’t suspect
    2. Trying to help bring the whole system down by making it as unhinged as possible
    3. Trying to get deleted by c.ai or something, idk

I wonder if we can hook Trump and Elon on one of these so they leave us alone?
