  In 2022 I was watching the new beauty and the beast with some family and thought “damn, Angela lansbury definitely did it better, I wonder how long ago she died” and looked her up. My spouse and I were surprised to find out she was still alive, and said as much. 3 days later, she died.

  Last week, we were watching the Muppet treasure island and I looked up a more recent picture of Tim curry and thought “wow, he’s old now”

  Four days ago I saw a recent picture of dolly Parton and thought “she looks good for 80, I hope she is doing okay”

  So here I sit, looking at a recent photo of the Cheeto Man, and I must say… He looks super old, I’m surprised he’s not dead.

      If you want it to gain traction post the transparent .PNG of Grover or else you’ll be seeing a lot of Grover background and a lot less of the original images.

      The strongest response is usually calm, dismissive, and confident. You want them to look like they’re seeking attention while you look completely unfazed.

      A few styles:

      • Cold: “If that’s what you’re here for, you’ll have to do better than that.”
      • Dismissive: “You’re confusing my patience with vulnerability.”
      • Cutting: “That’s an embarrassingly transparent attempt to get a reaction.”
      • Confident: “You can try. I’m not particularly impressed by threats from strangers.”
      • Very dry: “Noted. I’ll try to survive the ordeal.”
      • Boundary-setting: “You’re welcome to disagree with me. Harassment is a different matter.”

      The one I’d choose for maximum “don’t fuck with me” energy without “sounding like a tryhard”:

      “You’re confusing my patience with vulnerability.”

      It makes you sound controlled rather than angry—which is generally much more intimidating than trying to out-insult them.
