Hello lovelies, I am a (trans)Woman who is still in the process of discovering herself!
I have been working up the courage to be who I am for so long, I am excited to be figuring things out.
Pre-HRT, pre-fashion-sense, and pre-confidence.
Any and all tips and advice from more experienced women are welcome!

- Comment on If You Rented a Car or Bought Weed Recently, Your License Is Likely for Sale on the Dark Web. Protect Your Identity Now 1 week ago:
Having been to quite a few week shops across Michigan and Ohio, you’d just be unable to buy weed, and once you’ve refused and made a mild scene, they’re calling all the weed shops in the area with your description to tell them you’re acting suspicious.
While I’m not a fan of the practice, it’s basically impossible to buy from a dispensary in many places without them wanting to scan your ID. Especially if your state has limits on how much you can buy per month.

- Comment on Park benches don't "open" until 10am 1 week ago:
Honestly I just grab any locks I find while out (like if I find one on the side of the road) and occasionally when I see a cheap-but-not-masterlock I contemplate buying it for shits and giggles.
For a starter lock, I have several master locks that range from the cheap “smack it to open” to actual security pins, but I always want them to be easy to pick so I can introduce people without overwhelming them.
My favorite is one that I… appropriated from a previous job (accidentally took it home and forgot about it) it’s a security lock shaped like a circle to keep people away from the shackle with security pins AND can false set. It’s the “oh so you think you’re hot shit because you got 3 locks open?” lock. I’ll have to dig through some moving boxes to find the brand
- Comment on Park benches don't "open" until 10am 1 week ago:
A stiff breeze could do it, but you can also just hit it with a rock if it doesn’t pop open from a stern glance.
I had a shitty 40mm masterlock on my locker in middle school and I wouldn’t even bother with a key, if just yank hard on it once or twice and the jostling was enough to pop it free.

- Comment on Park benches don't "open" until 10am 1 week ago:
I’m well aware, and unfortunately I am in one of those states. If they ever decide to search me and my purse, they’ll find it.
Mere possession is considered proof of criminal intent. But I also always have a clear acrylic lock and easy padlock to show interested people how to pick a lock. It’s fun and cheap as a hobby. So if I ever do get caught, at least I can make the argument of it being a hobby more convincing. I don’t really expect to get off easy because of that, but if I’m ever caught and searched by cops, having a set of lock picks will probably not be my biggest concern.
- Comment on Park benches don't "open" until 10am 1 week ago:
“the homeless” are always used as the excuse for stuff like this, but (as you are an example of) plenty of people “rough sleep” without being homeless. I’ve never slept on a bench, but I’ve spent a few nights in state parks with a hammock due to not wanting to be around my family for varying reasons. Once because I was supposed to be sleeping at a friend’s house but went to a party and decided fuck this imma leave.
It’s funny you mention reading because I’ve actually been harassed by cops for “loitering” in the park when I was sitting in my car reading.
- Comment on Park benches don't "open" until 10am 1 week ago:
I never considered this before, but now I’m glad I carry lock picks with me everywhere. That shitty padlock would take 10 seconds and I’d be on my way with a new beginner practice lock.
Fuck hostile architecture, fuck anywhere that makes an already shitty situation worse by telling the homeless “we don’t view you as people, go die somewhere else”

- Comment on Why are there so many shit posts about beans? 1 week ago:
I kind of enjoy the crossovers, since they’re usually something off-the-wall and I like absurdist humor.
But yeah the “beans in everything” and “here’s corn” ones are pretty low effort. That’s not to say they never get a chuckle, I just usually don’t care for them.
Maybe I just haven’t seen mothposting enough to be tired of it.
- Comment on Food served to US service men & women. 1 week ago:
As a former enlisted who thankfully got medical’d out of the service very early, the ONLY thing I find mildly infuriating 8s that it looks like my old school lunches.
Why do they deserve to get better food than our children?
Anyone still in can kiss my ass. Most enlisted joined within the last 10 years where it’s been a ShitShow since Trump1.0. I joined when I thought Obama was going to be different, but am glad I got out not long after it became clear how much he loves drone strikes. I would have just gone awol when trump showed up.
Modern military deserves the food we give to homeless people. Once we improve the lives of those who have it worst, we can think about getting them better food.

- Comment on So Austistici/Inventati just got designated as a "global terrorist organisation" by the Trump administration, what do I do now? 1 week ago:
You don’t have self-control when you start using them.
When you’ve seen an otherwise rational, smart adult ruin their entire family and steal from their own children in order to get a fix after “just trying it once”, you understand all the self control in the world won’t be enough.
- Comment on Olive Branch MS mayor refusing to lower flag for Dolly 1 week ago:
You can get behind not lowering it because a person who spent their entire life helping people and encouraging and enabling others to do the same is somehow comparable to a racist bigoted piece of shit?
- Comment on So Austistici/Inventati just got designated as a "global terrorist organisation" by the Trump administration, what do I do now? 1 week ago:
If they’re saying ‘violent terrorists’ and listing antifa and cop city protesters, then they’re saying groups like al-qaeda are on par with protesters, and therefore must not be that bad.
They’re making the word meaningless.
- Comment on So Austistici/Inventati just got designated as a "global terrorist organisation" by the Trump administration, what do I do now? 1 week ago:
It’s honestly deligitimizing the word terrorism.
It’s like the “war on drugs”. The DARE program (an anti-drug program cops run in schools) was the single best promoter of drugs I’ve ever seen. When they tell people all drugs will kill you and thc is just as bad as heroin, when you try a joint or vape for the first time and don’t get immediately addicted or die, you think “well I guess heroin and crack can’t be that bad either”
If you call everything that’s against fascism, bigotry, and hate a “terrorist group” it really makes all the legitimate terrorism extremist groups look much tamer, and less people will think of them as terrorists.
- Comment on So Austistici/Inventati just got designated as a "global terrorist organisation" by the Trump administration, what do I do now? 1 week ago:
I guess we’re ignoring all the labeling of antifa as a terrorist organization?
Anything that is mildly popular that goes against the regime will always be labeled “terrorism”

In 2022 I was watching the new beauty and the beast with some family and thought “damn, Angela lansbury definitely did it better, I wonder how long ago she died” and looked her up. My spouse and I were surprised to find out she was still alive, and said as much. 3 days later, she died.
Last week, we were watching the Muppet treasure island and I looked up a more recent picture of Tim curry and thought “wow, he’s old now”
Four days ago I saw a recent picture of dolly Parton and thought “she looks good for 80, I hope she is doing okay”
So here I sit, looking at a recent photo of the Cheeto Man, and I must say… He looks super old, I’m surprised he’s not dead.
crosses fingers and hopes real hard
