That’s a Tower of London raven! They were one of the coolest parts of the Tower complex. Incredible birds, and so much bigger than you expect. I got up to within a foot of one that was chilling on a ledge and took a selfie with him. You really get a sense of their intelligence when you get up close and make eye contact with them.
Also our tour guide told us that they get whole rabbits as a treat once a week and they eat them bones, fur, and all.

I’ve been feeding the crows unsalted peanuts in shell, for about 2-3 weeks. I haven’t received any gifts yet that I know of. But we’re still getting to know each other. They are getting closer to me though.

Alas. Wild ravens are very rare here. There’s like 200 of them in the Netherlands, so my dream of befriending Ravens is a nonstarter.
