Guess there is always a downside
That’s worth tipping for in a Waffle House considering you weren’t directly involved in the murder.

Worked in a Waffle House 28 years ago. Never had a murder, but did have a rape, beating, two football fan crashouts and a drunk guy yelling at the menu for being disrespectful to his invisible wife. Gods I will never unsee any of that. Worse, I never got tipped. Layer moved to a more dangerous gig : Steak N Shake cook.
a drunk guy yelling at the menu for being disrespectful to his invisible wife
God I hope this was captured by all angles from peoples cell phones, and uploaded to youtube.
How are you handling the adjustment to life on the outside?
Plus it’s just the neighborly thing to do. They have to clean up the body, after all.
Dinner and a show?
5 stars.
Is 6 stars an option?
How about 7? 👁️
I hate it when that happens…
You know your town is going to shit when you can’t even finish your baked mostaccioli because some asshole decided to stab his brother 5 feet away from you.
Murdered beside you? …Did you do the murder?
“A man was murdered beside me during my meal.”
“It was you! You murdered your dining companion!”
“That doesn’t change the facts.”
Phoebe: my mom was killed by a drug dealer
Monica: your mom killed herself
Phoebe: she was a drug dealer
Caaarl
Well nobody is appreciating the killer for atleast finishing him his meal.
That escalated quickly
Was the food good though?
At least it didn’t happen before the check back
At least it wasn’t raining

Well did the restaurant murder the guy? Because if not that’s bullshit.

The restaurant didn’t murder the guy, but the reviewer requested a seat in the non-murdering section, so seating him right next to it loses a star.

I mean, it’s just like the 1980s. You could request to sit in the non-smoking section, but let’s be real, the whole building smelled of smoke no matter how far away you sat. Same thing here. You’re going to catch a bit of second hand murder viewing. That’s just how it goes sometimes.

I was going to try to argue that the restaurant is responsible for everything that happens in it but that would be bullshit. In a court of law, the rstaraunt wouldn’t be held responsible. At most, their responsibility is to kick the guy out and maybe call police if they has reason to suspect he’d commit violence
