  I’m embarrassed I forgot about Wanda, she’s one of my favourites. To be fair, she is living in America for most of the franchise. I also almost mentioned Shang-Chi, he’s originally from China and most of his movie is set in China but he also grew up in America

  That’s something I like about the movie Home. It was an American movie but the main site of the alien invasion was Paris for a change

  I’ve always found it weird when world threatening events are typically concentrated in one country but it is to be expected that the majority of media from a country will take place in that country.

  If the MCU were more realistic, there ought to be more international heroes but somehow almost all the earth heroes seem to be American (the only exception I can think of is Black Panther). I like that The Incredibles 2 features international heroes.

  I also used to find it weird how in Digimon, the saviours of a whole other world just happen to all be from Japan. The second season brought in international digidestined but it doesn’t change the fact that the ones who traveled to the digiworld to fight evil in the first season happened to all be from one small area of Japan

  Originally it meant being aware of racial inequality and injustices

  The way it is currently used seems to mean being in favour of diversity

  I don’t understand why the people referred to as woke don’t seem to be reclaiming the word. They take it as an insult when it should be taken as a compliment to be aware of injustices and in favour of correcting injustice

  The mayor was arrested for falsely imprisoning a bunch of animals. He wasn’t a part of the conspiracy to make them savage but he was trying to cover it up by falsely imprisoning them. After he was arrested, Bellweather became mayor and then she was arrested at the end when it turned out she was conspiring to turn animals savage

  I am an organ donor myself but there are a few different reasons people are not

  1. superstition and religious beliefs. Some religions are against it.

  2. a belief that doctors won’t try as hard to save them if they can use their organs to save more people

  Of course all drugs affect different people differently but doing more than one drug at a time is something to be cautious about. Apparently alcohol increases THC absorption when you do both at the same time. After I collapsed on the bus, they gave me electrolytes intravenously to try and get the THC out of my system

  I’ve been drunk a lot and high a lot. I had never thought to articulate the difference between them in that way. When I’m drunk, I remember what I did but I don’t remember what the hell I was thinking. When I’m high, I have weird thoughts but don’t do much.

  I’ve also been both at the same time and collapsed on a bus feeling like it was going 200km/h. NEVER do both at the same time

  I’m one of the people who gave an answer like you’re describing and I have to admit, I’ve never been blackout drunk
