  The exception seems to be movies that are part of big franchises. I’ve never heard anyone refer to Harry Potter as “Dan Ratcliffe”. But then when a franchise has a lot of remakes and reboots, it reverts back again. People call Batman actors and James Bond actors by their real names to distinguish which version of Batman or James Bond they mean

  I’m very pedantic and will often say “Chris Pratt’s character” instead of “Chris Pratt”, but that’s just my unnecessary pedantry, if you just say the actor’s name, people know what you mean

  I love the movie Bad Moms but I can never remember the main character’s name, they should have just named her Mila Kunis.

  In the movie Mercy, starring Chris Pratt, the main character’s name is Chris. They probably figured people would call him that anyway

  Depending on how famous the actor is, sometimes it’s easier to remember their name than the character’s name

  It’s very concerning that you can’t figure out how murder, violence, theft, lies etc… are harmful to individuals and society without some authority figure saying “because I said so”

  My aunt told me that if I get the covid vaccine, it means I support every single thing the government does. A lot of people follow this stupid black and white thinking that says you can’t vote for a candidate without agreeing with them on every single issue

  I’m going to be pedantic here. First, Simba didn’t know Scar was trying to kill him. Second, he didn’t tell Timon and Pumbaa that his father died. Timon and Pumbaa were a little dickish telling him not to worry without first finding out what his problem was, but they did not have full context
