I want to drive a 30 yr old 3 cylinder car from Japan, illegal.
I want to sit around the fireplace and watch a scary movie. Illegal.
I want to ride my e-bike down my local trail. Illegal.
I want to modify my car and give it a little more pep. Illegal.
I want to 3D print airsoft guns, play with my friends in the woods, and record the fights with my drone. Illegal.
I want to let my kids run around at the park by themselves. Illegal.
I want to try out some cheap Chinese EVs and phones. Illegal.
I want to give myself glp1 drugs, but i didn’t want to pay $1000 for a dose, so i want to buy it overseas. Illegal.
I’m not sure of the efficacy of the pills vs the injections, but in the USA you can get Wegovy pills for $149/month now, which AFAIK is roughly the same price as other countries.
It’s $149 of you don’t have insurance. I have insurance though Kaiser so i didn’t quality for that, and kiaser won’t give it to me.
So i pay $36k a year for insurance for drugs they won’t give me, and i can’t afford the drugs because i didn’t qualify for the “no insurance” coupons.
I started wegovy pill last month and have lost 30lbs so far, roughly 8% of my starting body weight.
I’m a fat fuck though, and my first pounds always come off easy. Plus there were a couple days I just didn’t eat because I was throwing up constantly.
The starting doses are $149/mo with mfg coupon and no insurance. Higher doses I think are $199. I believe both are cheaper than the injected variety.
As much as I hate the fact that I have to pay out of pocket for any medication…I’m fairly sure my grocery bill dropped by more than $149 since starting.

Wtf? That’s little more than HALF what it costs in Denmark where drugs are usually much CHEAPER than in the US!

I think health insurance is to expensive and i want to not pay for it

Note in case it’s not obvious: I am aware that relocating across borders or even oceans can be very difficult and costly. I am being a flippant ass for comedic effect.

The fireplace one is local laws. We only have 2 days a year that we can burn wood. It’s it’s illegal most days.
Wait, the Netherlands has legal magic mushrooms? That surprises me given that I’ve heard their weed isn’t quite as freely legal as their reputation makes it seem.
