Haven’t had the opportunity yet, but Firefox allows you to block the page visibility API. I wonder if that circumvents these Twitch shenanigans.

That’s crazy that twitch is now just as horrible as youtube, netflix, etc. Ad’s are absolutely destroying everything. I do my best to mute and avoid looking at all ads and it seems they are getting wise to that tactic as well. Horrible, horrible companies.

I find it helps to raise your hand in front of the screen to block the ads when they start playing. It’s like a middle finger to the advertisement companies.
